Has anyone got info on when this bike will be at dealers?? Dealer told me the 27 250 is in already and "usually the 450 is a couple weeks later". That was 2 weeks ago so I put a deposit down for the 450 However Im getting reports that it may not be till Oct Anyone have info?

Based on what I see so far I doubt Triumph will "acknowladge" anythingWink However the motor issues are All easily fixable. No design changes needed, just a few surfaces that need a finer finish/polish ( gear dogs and pockets), a few parts that need a materials quality upgrade( oil pump rotor, valve seals, clutch baskets/ plates, shift drum coating). This...

I was also considering a Triumph because of chassi and suspesion but im not going near it until they have acknowledged the issues and say they fixed it, and it has been confirmed its fixed. I have at least 3 others around me that says the same thing.

Wow. That’s a lot of work to put into a bike that might shit a transmission halfway through a moto and send you over the bars. 🤷🏻‍♂️

when / IF I goto sell my TF450 I will be able to advertise as "better than new" Triumph cheaped out on transmission parts finnish BUT not design. As it turns out the design is fine, it was simply that they did not put a final finnish on the gear dogs and pockets ( they left them ruff cast and...
I would add this...... Ive done a bunch of development work over the last 40 years or so. Much of it dealing with the undesierable reactions and resonances in structures related to audio transducers(loudspeakers). I would say The most valuable, and the most frustratingWink , thing I learned was this, you can throw all sorts of work at the "suspensions" in...
well I supose you have a good point. However this isnt my first rodeo AND enough has been done to the stock suspensoion prior to, and during this test, to know the basic characture of this chassis. The desier was to see what the FCP parts were capable of with the stock suspension with changes like springs, oil heights, extreems...
Members 8.5k Location: New York Author Posted just now Due to the success I had with FCP race cups on the 2025 CRF 450 ( great on that chassis btw I highly recomend !!), I installed FCP race cups on the Triumph Not cheap and a bit trickyer to install on this bike than it was on the Honda BUT...

I was between Triumph 450 and another KTM 450 but this about Triumph still not taking responsibility for the gearbox is a big red flag. This won't be the only problem and if this is how they handle it its to big of a risk. Was hoping they made some kind of announcement after seeing this shit blowing up.

Test update.... I have a half dozen rides now on the mods discribed here. The performance remains consistant. Still shifting smooth with no change in performance. AND best of all not one false nutral. This argues that these mods are holding. Also there is much less metal on my drain bolt magnet!! BTW I have run into a few people...

The chassis is a work of art but the bodywork looks disjointed and ugly.

Their design was fine, the exacution was sub par. They could have avoided all this bad press with just a little finer finnish/ toleranceing of a few parts. They are an experienced and reputable manufacture. They know what to do. For whatever reason they didnt At least its fixable without breakin the bank BUT your gona have to dig in...
