1/22/2026 11:38am Wow, duh! You are 100% correct. Thanks! I am going to try them before buying clamps to see if I like the way the offset performs (I know Billy would tell me there are other benefits not related to offset, and I completely agree...but I'm mostly concerned with the offset change).

1/22/2026 11:29am I believe your 300rr should have 20mm offset clamps. My 300RX does. I almost swapped them just to see before I bought them but I’m impatient.

1/22/2026 10:58am Awesome, thanks for the feedback! I may have to give the 20mm offset a try...after revalving the suspension, I really love the Beta. I've owned several Beta 300 woods bikes (and still have a 2023 Race Edition 300), and I think they are the best all-around dirt bikes made. Maybe the years of riding Beta's in the woods and gelling...

1/22/2026 10:52am Funny story, I let Billy (Luxon) use my 450 to mock up the Gen 3 Pro clamps since nobody had one for him to use at the time and when we were in the shop talking the original plan was to make them a 21-24 mm offset clamp, but I mentioned IMHO nobody on the planet will want or need a 24mm offset on the clamps with a Beta 450RX (or any beta really), so he went 20-23mm and 20mm seems to be the perfect number for that bike. MXA felt the same when they tested them on their Beta...

1/22/2026 10:11am I have a 2024 Beta 450RX...what offset did you go with? I love the stability of the Beta, but it takes more effort to initiate a turn than my other bikes. However, once initiated, the bike is super stable and holds the line better than my other bikes. I would like to improve the turn-in without sacrificing the other positives...

1/22/2026 10:07am I'd say hands down, Billy's stuff is the most well thought out and refined product on the market. Worth every penny for me and my 450RX.

1/22/2026 8:43am I can write a book about this, but I'll try to hit the main points… First off, not all aftermarket clamps (or parts in general) are equal. There are few companies making good clamps, a lot of companies making mediocre clamps, and some pushing out rather garbage clamps. Just because it's aftermarket, doesn't necessarily make it better! Now, regarding good triple clamp options, here are the main reasons you might consider them: Geometry Changes This is the obvious one. Changes to the clamp offset can have a significant effect on handling. This varies by bike, rider, conditions, speed, etc., and...

1/22/2026 7:50am That is certainly possible, but I had ridden a lot that day and the track conditions were worse when I went out on the FCP mounts. I felt much more comfortable pushing into corner entry and felt better leaning the bike, which is what I contribute to the better lap times. But you seem to know more about what happened...

1/22/2026 7:47am I'm just a slow C rider but can't say I could tell any noticeable difference in comfort or compliance when I went from the stock KTM clamps to the Luxon clamps on my 350, but I didn't do a back-to-back test. I went with the 23.5* offset and that made a huge difference in the stability of the bike. I noticed the stability improvements second I pulled onto the track the 1st time after installing them.

1/22/2026 6:01am 209 on Nov 29 to 195 today. Down 14lb, clothes fitting a little looser, might be able to get back into medium t-shirts soon. Still just doing intermittent fasting (16:8 plan, between noon and 8pm). Usually just lunch and dinner, minimal snacking if any. I could be a lot more strict with what I eat and ramping up exercise and drop more weight quicker but I'll take what I'm getting for now.

1/22/2026 6:00am I was extremely skeptical and was like you before testing FCP engine mounts, back-to-back with OEM mounts on the same day. I went out and did 16 laps on the stock mounts, came in and swapped to FCP, and went back out and did 16 more laps. I assumed I wouldn't be able to tell a difference, but boy was...

1/22/2026 5:36am No bread, no pasta, no beer since Jan 1. In the gym every night and forcing myself out of my desk for a walk around the plant 3-5 times daily. Down 20 pounds this morning. January 1 I was 312, January 22 I am 292. I am racing my dirt bike with my kids this year. Goal is 250 or less by June, I am 6'1". I am living in a calorie deficit with a ton of exercise and committed to 16:8 fasting for anyone interested A little back story, Ive always struggled with weight, admittedly its more about self...

1/22/2026 5:35am We got ours as well. 100% agree with your take. Crazy how you feel the weight when you pick it up but super comfortable and you don’t notice it at all while it on. We got a medium and a large and honestly there’s not much difference. My son is 6’ 180 and I’m 6’ 185 and we both agreed we could wear either one. The medium was a bit more snug in the shoulder area but I actually kind of liked that. It kind of makes since as our A4 chest protectors were a M/L. Now I just have...

1/22/2026 5:34am My new chest protector/ineffective airbag rig showed up today. Ordered Sunday from mxboot.com. Process through their site was smooth as could be. Initial opening of the box, looks sweet. Immediately pulled it out just for a test fit. Pulling it from the box, i definitely felt the weight. Im 6' 190 and went with a Large. Everything i read said to choose your shirt size and if youre in between, go with the size down, so that's what i did. I didn't measure anything. Seems to fit very well and once I put it on, i honestly couldnt even "feel"...

1/21/2026 11:17am I had read this on the forum after I uploaded Keefer's map and rode the bike back to back vs the stock setting. Reading your post, I wanted to confirm if it was true... I just checked my app and the ignition changes all revert to +1 AFTER upload. The app allows you to change the number, but it changes back to a +1 only AFTER you upload it to the ECU. If you upload from the FI tab, rather than the IG tab, you'd never even see it. The bike runs well with that setting in my opinion, but...

1/21/2026 10:03am I have a 2024 and I thought that the ECU would not allow anything over +1 on the ignition settings?? I know for a fact that it used to be that way, as I would try to upload maps with advanced ignition, and it would default back to +1 across the board. I have the latest app version, but have...

1/21/2026 6:42am Here's another idiotically large photo gallery of over 1000 photos from the San Diego Supercross (I think it's over 1,200 actually, but I am not counting it exactly at this point, I'm tired). For your viewing pleasure and in an attempt to burn my laptop to the ground: https://www.vitalmx.com/features/photo-gallery-2026-san-diego-supercross In all seriousness, I've really been enjoying adding race weekend photo work to my long list of job duties. I get very bored doing the same projects over and over; photography is just such a fun and unique challenge.
