Looking at his form now in MXGP I think he's definitely a threat outdoors, especially since he can rip holeshots like no other, Jett will have to work for it.

Harder obstacles would allow elite guys to get to the front when they get a bad start. Currently bad starts dont allow guys to get to the front as easily cause the mid level guy is doing the same thing the elite guy is and playing follow the leader.

I'll take a step further and throw out a whole redesign of the SX format. - Age-limited E/W regional class, maybe they run 4-5 races per year instead every round. Shootout at the finale only. Replaces futures class. Age limit around 19-20, but negotiable. Maybe based on exp instead of age? - 250 class, no regions, full schedule. - 250 and 450 classes go to 2-moto format, regionals stay with one. - To help compensate for more races with the intro of the "new" futures class and dual moto format, do away with heat races. Top 18 from each class...

…as for Hunter. The fans that are taking the time to post are generally core fans living in the sport. In other words…people paying your paycheck through product purchases. Asking how they can be wrong 100% is idiotic…. first…because they usually don’t agree with each other, and if they do maybe listen, so it’s not going to be close to 100%….and second…you need fans to make money so maybe don’t shit on them. This was still a step in the right direction (if you are a Jett fan). He was 2 seconds a lap faster than the rest, made one misstake and then backed it off to secure a 3rd instead of risking to make more misstakes and drop more positions. I get it that people grasp at straws now hoping that someone can beat him in the close future but in reality this just once proves how much of a higher pace he can run than the rest and he will learn to back it off when he needs to.
