I feel like this discussion is pretty laid back considering lead poisoning could be involved. Not trying to be a Karen but someone should probably say something to the people running these tracks. It's no joke, especially for young kids.

Show me ONE metric that has shown the NFL is in decline in any way possible? The NFL averages fucking 18 million viewers PER GAME. Viewership is actually UP in the last 5 years and nearing the peak 9 years ago. Also these numbers don't account for all the people who cancelled cable around that time and started sharing streaming accounts (accounts for some decline). The latest sports science research suggests that multi sport disciplines as a young child is better than over-specialization in one. Elite success at age 8-10 isn't really as important as people think it is. Having a kid doing multiple sports and enjoying themselves is the best strategy. What your doing currently is pretty much in line with what's recommended. At some point he'll naturally settle into whatever sport he wants to specialise in, but at his current age there's not much benefit to that.
