The other end of that contract is the expectation that you're given a bike that won't put you on the ground..... I get fulfilling the contract, doing your job, etc, but that has it's limits too. If he was just mailing it in he wouldn't have been out there the last couple of rounds to begin with.

After just rewatching the replay. You can see the wheel make maybe a quarter of rotation has he leaves the jump then completely locked up. If you watch him go through the ruts in the face you see a cloud of dirt go up maybe 2 feet before take off. Either bent rotor or debris. He lost gyro effect immediately. No rider of Chases caliber grabs a front brake and holds it till he lands that’s the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard.

I’m shocked how many people on here don’t understand simple physics for the bike they ride. His front wheel got locked going through the rut up the face of the jump. That’s why he was front end high with no gyro effect. He almost fell off the back of the bike. This isn’t the first time we have seen debris jam front brakes but it’s the first time we have seen it right as you take off. That front wheel wasn’t moving in the air and still wasn’t moving after his crash.

No, the front wheel locked on the takeoff of the jump. He unexpectedly lost gyro effect and caused the crash. It seems like he had to have picked up a rock in the rotor at just the worst time…. I hope the team reports what happened, but don’t expect them to.

Well I finally took this thing out to the track for some laps. It had been sitting ever since I finished the build way back when. Crazy how time flies. I’ve put quite a bit of time on it in the desert out here and it’s really good all around. I spent countless hours with jetting (even ran a keihin for a few minutes) and the mikuni is dialed. I ended up cutting the slide on it and that pretty much fixed any issues I had. The bike absolutely rips. lately I’ve been taking it to Glen Helen and my suspension is way too soft there. I have no horse in this race, I'm still on an ICE engine and I'm purchasing a new 350 SX-F next month.
