I'd have never thought of any of those things as absolutes. When it is day where I am, it is night somewhere else - it is a product of our position relative to the sun, and what is relative is not absolute (I take it that "not relative" is essentially the definition of absolute). Mom and dad are often defined in terms of biology. I'm adopted, and have never met my biological parents so the people I know as mom and dad aren't biologically related to me. It would seem our definition here needs to be rather flexible to accommodate...

Nobody can really argue those points, the issue most have is how it was handled on their end on the PR side. But is this not the typical thing for american tv? Try to create as much excitement as possible. ”Made up” monster truck voices, create a story around everything etc. Often when i as a non-american watch american tv shows on discovery or what ever it’s always a over-dramatic production. It can be a survival show and the thing will always be like: ”if they don’t breath some air now, there is a possibility that they will die”.. just for the drama of it.

I won’t bash the US broadcast in this thread because I’ve done it plenty. Paul and JT are very good and I really enjoy the broadcast. One glaringly obvious difference is that as a listener, amateur rider, and fan I really appreciate it when I’m not treated as a complete dolt. It’s a pleasant change.

If you want to be honest, then it's fair to say that you cannot say that with certainty. There are just too much variables over the season to decide who would win, but one thing is certain - no one would wipe the floor with Gajser. As for riding over his head, yes, his 20-21 seasons were like that, but he won championships riding like that... though, he is nowhere near now to be called risky.
