11/4/2025 7:47am Frame nearly painted. The pro circuit pipe had been sat in my garage from new and had collected quite a lot of flash rust, so maybe sacrilidge but I cleaned it up and painted it black. The OEM expansion chamber is black so I thought give it a try !

fantastic job you doin buddy, i did a 93 cr 125 a couple of years ago that was roached so know what a big job you have on, the mxw 99 stamp on your forks is moto x world stamp, they were the go to guys for suspension and a honda shop in the 90s early 2000s, i don't know if they still goin, if you get stuck getting parts along your journey, send me a message and ill see if i can help pal, i run a small parts shop in cheshire

If you plan to ride it… chase/ reweld foot peg, engine mount, rear suspension link mount area”s….I also finished welds on neck & down tube area”s…. This is what the teams did back then to strengthen frame…I upgraded rear shock to a 96 with HS compression adjuster, just had to remove some of the frame material at the upper shock mount point…

New tank mounting brackets made where the old ones had been chopped off , the previous owner ran it with a bigger tank & for some reason had chopped the originals off and just drilled through the frame for a long bolt . All mocked up before to make sure the tank...

Kurt is from the UK he raced the gp,s forever. In the 500&250 class he finished 2nd a lot . 94 des nation champion. He lives in Cal. Now& still races.
