Everyone will see it tomorrow unless someone wants to drive by with a telephoto and take a look.  You could get shots of all the boys.  Eli's kit looks great on the pumpkin.

Let me guess, orange bike with Red Bull logos everywhere, orange and blue gear with Red Bull logos everywhere, and the same 'ol same 'ol Red Bull helmet? That team doesn't exactly cater to individuality.

Cool that he's already hooked up with a cable clutch, though.

It wasn’t to long ago KTM was the premier team in the pits. Tomac is gona look good with that RedBull helmet on. I do hope the bike is ok for him tho, 50/50 maybe

Rekluse would be the company to make a cable system. It's been thought of already.

This is similar to the 23-25 YZ450F. The slave bolts in place of the cable push rod actuator or vise versa. It wouldn't be hard if they want to do it. KTM may have too much pride and not want to make that kind of change though.

No offense, but many times people claim to "stamp it" and be wrong. Until it's shown in an official press release photo, I'm not holding my breath.

Give me a break, I’ve seen it with my own eyes.   He’s been riding it elsewhere and today he’s riding it at the test track today.  I knew about it days ago but didn’t want to say anything until he exposed it at the track in front of everyone. Source = me.  You will see it tomorrow.

They should offer it as a power parts accessory.  Many people prefer the consistency and simplicity/reliability of a cable setup. Alot of guys would try it just to save weight and because its trickness/different than stock.

Let alone if they want to cut costs on the assembly line, that brembo master and slave assembly is not inexpensive. Fwiw

Weight? Maybe save like 100 grams?
KTMs clutch set up is pretty reliable for 99% of people. And I can’t remember a KTM team guy having issues. Not sure if it will hold up to Tomac, he’s pretty bad on his clutch.maybe really bad😂 Ive seem a couple slave cylinder seals fail, but mostly trail rider guys .

I never said you were wrong, but I have just seen too many saying "stamp it" that were way off base. If you saw it with your own eyes, there is the proof because you have no reason to lie about it!

People have info on stuff, but can’t say anything because no one wants to get anyone in trouble. Like this, I’ve known about this for quite some time, but you can’t say anything because you don’t want to take a chance. Awesome to see KTM doing this though, I’m not a huge KTM fan, but their desire to win is second to none.

Know how to protect people in the know? Don’t say anything about it at all, let the PR come out then say you knew about it if you want.

KTM has been perfecting the hydraulic clutch for 25 years and probably has millions of hours on them on their factory bikes and how to make them work. Much more reliable option than developing some sort of janky cable conversion deal they have no R&D time on.

Its no secret the KTM design of the actual guts of the clutch is the best OEM design out there, if you look at any of these full aftermarket clutch setups for Japanese bikes they are very similar.

The hydro clutch on my 2018 TC 250 was rubbish. Too short of a throw, it was practically binary. The hydro clutch on my 22 Honda is much closer to a cable, but still doesn't give as much haptic feedback.

Put the Kawi 450 master on and get the Arc power lever.

A hydraulic clutch slave cylinder is arguably just a simple as a cable clutch. Its a plastic plunger that pushes a disk with an o ring on it.

Yeah, obviously their bikes are gonna be the same, and they’re gonna have Redbull  helmets, but they all wore very different base colored gear yesterday.  If I was putting together the best looking kit between all three of them, I would take Tomac’s gear and boot color and AP’s helmet because I do not like the look of the Bell helmet no matter if it’s Monster or his new Redbull lid.   Prado’s gear was second best for me with some color, and AP’s was bringing up the rear with a plain Jane look.

I wonder...didn't they promise a certain SX champion a linkage?

Of course, adding one is much simpler than the other
