This is why so often we see color/analyst commenters afraid to be themselves. It's hard not to piss people off. Thankfully, JS7 doesn't give a shit, so we get the real him. I hope he it fires Chase up, maybe it's just what he needs to close the gap.

Matthes: Why would the dealership ever disclose that threats were made from Yamaha? Threats of that nature would be unprofessional and possibly even illegal and in doing so, disclosing that Yamaha made threats would be biting the hand that feeds. It’s clear to see the dealership is acting in the interest of protecting their reputation as well as their partnership with Yamaha, by trimming the fat that is Brennan Schofield. Further, it may very well be a fact that Yamaha never made threats but I firmly believe Schofield was made to believe they were.

Steve, use your head. The first interview the kid gave he said he wouldn’t even repeat what Matt said it was so bad. Then threatening his engine builder etc….Again, if Yamaha didn’t actually lean on the dealership there is no reason Donnie would have been inserted in to all this. You have Deegan, Potter, Walker and Yamaha trying to talk the kid out of it and he wasn’t budging. Then Chris the dealer takes the kid in a room and comes out and drops the claim?? C’mon man! We all know what happened in that chat without knowing what happened...

Disagree with their strategy?! You know Global’s strategy intimately? How it may have developed and reacted to others strategies along the way? I doubt that very much. Your posts are constantly anti-WSX and American-centric. That’s all good, just don’t pretend otherwise. There’s a big wide world with differing opinions out there. You should check it out sometime, you may be surprised what you find.

Webb and Anderson specifically won titles with him. It seems like these guys aren't as happy grinding year after year to try and stack titles. Maybe they'd rather grind for a few years, reach their goals and move on to have a longer lasting career. Not to say they don't work as hard when they move on, just a different kind of working hard.
