Thought of a few sayings/comments that are often said that I find annoying haha.

1) When somebody says they "got a 3rd place holeshot".... No, no you didn't. You actually did NOT get the holeshot but rather got a 3rd place start hahahaha

2) Podum interviews by all the top riders when they start the sentence with "I can't thank Sponsor X, Y, and Z" BUT never finish that sentence with "enough". I get it if they wanted to say "I can't thank Bell Helmets enough" but it ends up actually being "I can thank Bell Helmets....", leaving it open ended and actually sounding/meaning worse hahaha

Anyone else have some good ones?

Number 2 drives me totally insane! It happens almost every time from the podium from several different riders.

Not really a saying, but still annoying nonethless. I see people referring to clutch plates as "clutches." For example, I just replaced the clutches in my 125. That shit makes my blood boil.

Old enough to remember a time before this nauseatingly ubiquitous phrase, although to be fair, the common phrase in those days was usually ; holy shit ! - whats on fire ?

If memory serves, we have Jeff Emig to thank for redddddd budddddd.

When people call Axo “A.X.O.” It’s from the Italian word “asso” which means winner, but they didn’t want to have “ass” on the gear so they made it Axo. There’s been several threads on this, but it’s my pet peeve.

Jeremy Martin calling Will Christien dude and bro during the podium interview was hilarious though.

“Front forks” drives me nuts!

Only because I’ve not seen any rear forks lately.

You hit the nail on the head with "I can't thank my sponsors" and never ending it.

"Hitting my marks" sounds odd to me. It makes sense in road racing (cars/bikes) but do MX riders actually have marks to hit?

"Made some changes between motor" - Doesn't explain any changes..

Harley calls a swingarm a rear fork.

“Send it” or “still gonna send it” that larry enticer guy was but random dudes from any old hometown screaming that shit as they jump a 110 like 2 feet when their drunk is pretty tiring.

Another ones that gets me - “ I won 4th place” (or whatever place). No, no you didn’t…there’s only 1 winner and you finished 4th.

I’ve heard them called “front shocks” which is even more annoying.
