From 39th to 4th in only twenty minutes of racing was damn impressive! Raw speed.

From 39th to 11th in two laps 😂 On a track that mostly has one line through corners. He basically passed most of these dudes railing the outside. Every pass he made it looked like they were standing still. Unreal stuff

I agree, but I still think the 95 is the best looking CR. I can't decide between a stock '94, Henry '94, a HoT '95 or a stock '95. I recently rebuilt my childhood riding buddy’s '94 RM and went stock (I never liked any of the factory or aftermarket kits for the RM anyway), so a stock '94 would be cool. The day we brought it home. Me on the YZ and my buddy on the RM, at Good Times, probably in ‘95 or ‘96. Back together again. All freshened up.

Got overwhelmed with the engine and need to get everything organized first. I did figure out the shock lowering and went with 13mm based on my measurements. The seat pan was a disaster. I had to hammer the staples to dust since they were so rusty.

I swear, anyone who uses the “derangement syndrome” stuff are actually the dullest people on earth. Like the type of person that walks around not realizing their mouth is hanging open.

Little bit of progress. Got the 94 stem into the CRF clamps and everything fits. I hope to build the engine this weekend.

I would LOVE to switch back to Suzuki, but after 3 knee surgeries I need the button. If they would just update a few things like that you'd see a huge resurgence of all the old yellow faithful coming back......

Don’t get me wrong I’d love nothing more than an American rider to be back on top as well, it just seems to be getting blown up more lately. It’s cyclical, and eventually a US rider will dominate. Who it would be matters to me though. I loved the RD, RV, ET type rider. Work, win, and shut up…let your riding do the talking. .Unfortunately I don’t see anyone that fits that criteria I can get behind at the moment so I just enjoy the riders that do that from other places.

I don’t think this aspect gets the importance it deserves. Individual riders on other teams aren’t truly team mates - the Lawrences are. Even to the point of swapping bikes during practice to see what the other is doing.

That's why they have Doc G on hand. He puts them back in after each moto

So true. The US system seems to breed valve bouncers. It simply doesn't generate speed as efficiently as someone who rides in the meat of the power.
