8/18/2026 8:18am I’m trying to help my 15 year old get set up with a business, and I’ve got the vapor hone and TIG setup for him to learn on. I was hoping that there’s a market for case repair, but if he’s going to do it, I want the results to be similar to what Mylers established with radiators.

If I can deal with slight discoloration in the aluminum where I’ve welded, I can deal with slight irregularities between the glide plate and frame. The plastic ties Honda sells are very clean and removable. This would also lend a more original appearance vs zip ties. Honda still offers them. Off hand I do not know the part number. If interested I can shoot a pic later of the item and the packaging. Just offering a alternative.

Shrouds are NOS. Number plates were done by Throttle Jockey and the trim pieces were done by Unbounded.

7/16/2026 11:56am I loathe cleaning up plastics, which is why I’ve been putting off the airbox for so long. I debated going with a carbon airbox, but I dig the white. Anyways, I found some original artwork under the layers of paint and crud.

7/12/2026 5:42pm Got overwhelmed with the engine and need to get everything organized first. I did figure out the shock lowering and went with 13mm based on my measurements. The seat pan was a disaster. I had to hammer the staples to dust since they were so rusty.

Same happened to me when looking for a Pro-Circuit KX500 silencer with the earlier style end cap. Lots of websites using the earlier photo of the silencer, but selling the current (fugly) version.
