Hi Buddy curious after the dents are welded up,what will you do to make in invisible after paint or powder coat??? I was told by Eastwood associate to use filler with metal in it? He claimed regular filler won't hold up. I like to smooth mine out to look like it never was dented.

I just ground the welds flush. Looks smooth enough for me.
If I can deal with slight discoloration in the aluminum where I’ve welded, I can deal with slight irregularities between the glide plate and frame.
I was hoping that the case repair would become invisible after grinding and a vapor blast, but you can see it…must have been a different grade of Al.
Noticeable to you, but once the motor is buttoned up and on the bike, it won't be to most everyone
I’m trying to help my 15 year old get set up with a business, and I’ve got the vapor hone and TIG setup for him to learn on. I was hoping that there’s a market for case repair, but if he’s going to do it, I want the results to be similar to what Mylers established with radiators.
