How is FMF going to sell carbon end caps for this?

That's a hard one. Pretty much any McGrath helmet was killer. Most of the helmets back before energy drinks got ahold of them were way better.

66,000 views in just these few days. Still so hard to believe you are gone dear friend. You never knew the impact you had on everyone. . . and still are having to this day. Lifting a beer and a bowl to you tonight, hoping for a great afterlife... you deserve it bro. Pisto

Damn, I'm in shock. I know he was going through some tough times but he was a rock and went through it before. He never led on how much pain he was going through this time. Have to think he had this planned for awhile because his favorite singer Kurt Cobain past on the same day. Like clock work Scottie would post up his passing every April 5th. Rest in peace my brother, you'll be missed for sure.

Never met him face to face. But got to know and love the guy through the internet. He was one of Whip It's biggest fans. We also would compete on WGT golf. I so wish there was anything I could have done to save him. I suffered spinal cord trauma six years ago. Fortunately I can walk and function almost normally. But the resulting Cauda Equina Syndrome neuropathy I've just had to learn to live with. And it changes (at a glacial pace) constantly. There are episodes that feel like someone is holding a live spark plug wire to my...

I am going to try to say something that I hope comes off right. I can't claim the impairments that Scott labored with painfully for years, but I can relate to being disabled and not able to fully take part in physical activity. We love an active sport, and it is very easy to feel left behind, both mentally and objectively, when the world gets on with its business. To be ill, injured or aged out can be a lonely place, and that can affect your sense of quality of life and hope. One of the things that I admired...

Fuck! Yesterday was hard. It was my "anniversary" of being in a chair. 19 years. And all I could think about was Scottie. What I came to realize is without knowing Scottie, I wouldn't be who I am today. Not even close. Scottie is the one person I have to credit for me being me. In 2003 Scottie sent me his old CPU and I built my first custom PC to play MCM2. That got me interested in game design, which ultimately led me down my career path. He was always available to talk about regular life, chair life, or...

Pretty sure this is Scotties favorite song. It got him through a lot of tough times.

I uhh...I'm bumm'n. You OCScottie, were one of the folks that rode this internet roller coaster with us. From Supercross.com to Mototalk.com. What a journey for all of us. If you see TFS, tell him we miss him. Godspeed Bro...

Brother, he absolutely adored you. His messages giving you shit about Mad Skills are some of the funniest things I've read, he loved it.

Wow Manny, I did not know that. Thank you for making me feel better on a tough day. I never got to meet Scottie in person but we messaged each other from time to time, and I was pretty certain this would be the outcome. You can only deal with it for so long. I am so lucky I had an option. I can't think of a braver thing to do than what he did...he was out of options.

Words are hard to come by. I never met him in person but his passion for moto and F1 ,among other things, was so great. In 2012 the first US F1 Grand Prix at COTA was on his birthday. I really wanted to get him out here to see it. But he said it would be hard to travel. So I had an idea to do something for him and had these shirts made. There were delivered to GuyB who had riders sign one. Then it and the others were given to him. In 2014 at the Houston SX...

Seems not that long ago we were riding and ditching the cops on 80's. I feel sad, mad and now I'm crying but I understand your decision. Godspeed Scott

No, NO, NO, FUCK THIS NO!

It means exactly what you think it means. God Speed Scottie, hope you’re pain free now

Ride in peace, Scottie. I hope you left guilt free knowing that none of us would judge you negatively.
