Congrats to Chase! He's a true champion and just an all around great young man. He knew on the podium he just won the championship and could have handled that a lot differently than he did. All class and a true champion. Gotta be in it to win it and he stuck it out to take the championship. Well deserved. Gutted for Eli.

Sure. ANYTHING that makes it so that more people can get to the first turn at the exact same time makes it more dangerous. Period. I honestly don't see how anyone could argue that. It's time to get rid of all this start bullshit...the only thing that matters now is reaction time essentially.....just hold that pig at the perfect RPM, dump the clutch and all the doo-dads will do the rest. The racing would instantly get better if it all went away. Give me one, just one reason that we NEED any of this start device and starting grate shit...

I could be way off the mark here. But I feel like having MX start so soon after SX causes these types of things. Their outdoor testing is limited and they’re doing so while in SX mode. The limited testing time forces them to push a little harder here and there to get the right setups. I’d prefer to trim SX slightly, down to 15 races (it’s a meat grinder already, so 2 less races would be good), and give the riders an entire month off before MX starts.

I've been going to races since 92. It has always been open seating until the night show... WTF is so hard about explaining this to someone who claims you are in "their seat"? Get an usher if you are that afraid to explain how the system works... You act as though someone is getting murdered, for sitting in what they perceive is "their seats". I was there. I had ZERO ISSUES watching practice.
