Meh....it's the same haters hating on him this year that hated on him last year. WDS (Webb derangement syndrome). Based on what we've seen of Coops character/resolve....I'm pretty comfortable that he'll be back to "assassin mode" when he returns. Nobody can doubt his heart at how he's handled himself after some pretty gnarly crashes.....and the awesome come-from-behind wins.

I have no idea about what supply issues Cooper was talking about, but did you hear the part about them only having 1 practice bike and one race bike in the beginning of the season?

5/5/2022 8:52am Yes I can...for the exact reasons I already stated - riding on the edge at higher speeds. In supercross these guys ride on the edge mostly in whoops and corners, they can't really send it harder off the jumps because the tracks aren't designed that way. In outdoors, he who leaves the throttle on longer, hits the bumps faster, launches...

5/5/2022 8:27am You can't just dump a 2 stroke engine into a 4 stroke chassis and expect it to work. It would take tons of testing and engineering, not to mention all the upgrades their 2 stroke engines would need to be competitive in today's market (electric start, efi, oil injection, etc).

Building modern 2 strokes isn't a magic bullet for Suzuki or any other manufacturer.

I didn't think he was the favorite going into outdoors and even less now that he has a knee injury. He's already admitted that by the midpoint of an SX main event it bothers him and that he has a hard time squeezing the bike. He's also not riding during the week either. If he has a difficult time getting through a 20 minute main event, I don't think doing 30+2 ×2 outdoors is going to be any easier. Outdoors has tougher conditions, more ruts, more holes, more bumps, etc. Higher chance of doing more damage. It doesn't take much...
