I am happy hes giving the knee a break. So he can shred the outdoors
not really a day race, first gate drop is at 6.

also, we're supposed to get some rain Saturday.

Spring in Northern Utah we don't know if it'll be 72 and sunny or 33 and snow until the day of. the shootout will be interesting if it does indeed rain.

Here's hoping Mookie gets his first win.

I can see that happening. I’d like to see him get one, he will be fun to watch on the podium.

The only way he doesn't get top 5 is if he has a serious injury or doesn't line up.

Are you talking about cooper webb?

A year can make a big difference.

It is hard for these guys to get that little extra advantage and when they get on track it is fun to watch their hard work pay off.

Unfortunately with the sx season df14 had the train might have derailed.

It will be even harder for him to get back in that bubble and have a year like he had in 2021

Eli is without a doubt the favorite to win the Nationals this summer. Last summer, when Eli rode as he should, he usually beat DF. This time Eli should be at another level from last year.

Anderson will probably end up matching Tomac with seven wins. Amazing for him.

Which races were those?
I think he was pretty over the Kawai by last summer though. Will be cool to see him happy and hungry if he can get healthy.

I guess you didn't pay enough attention.

I didn't think he was the favorite going into outdoors and even less now that he has a knee injury.

He's already admitted that by the midpoint of an SX main event it bothers him and that he has a hard time squeezing the bike. He's also not riding during the week either.

If he has a difficult time getting through a 20 minute main event, I don't think doing 30+2 ×2 outdoors is going to be any easier.

Outdoors has tougher conditions, more ruts, more holes, more bumps, etc. Higher chance of doing more damage. It doesn't take much to tweak an already injured knee.

It sucks to say, but I think he'll line up for a couple of rounds and then the team and himself will be forced to re-evaluate the summer. Try and push through and risk doing more damage or sit out and get it fixed properly. If he waits too long to get it fixed properly or he does more damage later in the summer, he won't be ready in time to defend the SX title in 2023.

I would think that Star Racing and Yamaha would very much like to have the number 1 plate on track come A1 2023.

Does anyone know what grade the tear is? 1, 2, or 3? I’m curious because if it’s a grade 3 tear his knee will not recover on it’s own. I had a grade 3 MCL tear and had to get surgery, but apparently grade one and two tears can heal over time.

He said on pulp that the doctor said it would heal on its own, so maybe not too bad?
