For the sake of my beloved motocross community, I am warning everyone to do their research before hiring an engine builder. I regrettably referred Chad Watts. Yes, That Chad Watts, of Watts perfections to my 52-year-old buddy who has cancer and wanted to build his old late 80's 250R 4-wheeler as a fun project. Chad quoted him over 10K to trick out and rebuild the old motor. My friend sent him $5100 and his motor in January of 2024! Chad has been elusive and claims he is busy. I finally reached out to him for a demand of money back...

He let loose last night on Pulp about his time at Kawasaki and how he wasn't allowed to make changes wanted to the bike. He was very angry that Dan Fahie said at the A1 press conference that they have always allowed their guys to make the changes they want to be comfortable on the bike. He said this lack of flexibility really hindered his results during his time there. Its a very interesting listen.
