I didn't know why they were so p*ssed after the race... don't know where this footage is from but great audio enhancement, can actually hear what they say!
Hunter doesn't want to do a Sexton.
i will never forgive the moto gods if JL is permanently hindered by this foot injury. That dude could be the new GOAT x 2 if isn't handicapped by injuries, and so far, his record with injuries isn't looking so awesome.
They both literally explain why they are so pissed

Not much here - Hunters bike cut out, Jett’s mad at his leg.
Jett Lawrence- “I can’t Fu***** ride with one foot!” As he wins the moto. 🤣 He’s so much better than everyone else it’s ridiculous.
Part of being the goat is the ability to stay injury free. Ricky had 10 outdoor titles to his name, from rookie season to the last full season he raced he never lost an outdoor championship. Tack in 5 sx titles as well and retired by 27. Did that while battling and beating Mcgrath, Lusk, Windham, Larocco, Reed and Stew
Jett’s gettin mad that big bro is at his level now
Jet's foot will probably never be normal again I had the same but worse my Talus was in six pieces mine never came close to coming back ended up getting fused I can totally understand his off balance comment it makes it even more amazing what he's able to do with that foot and his lack of training during the week because of the recovery time needed!
FACTS!💯🔥👊🏻
oh i agree that it's on JL to stay injury free, and so far, he's not doing a great job. Will just be such a let down if he loses tons of season/capability due to injuries, cause I sure would love to see what this kid could do during a full career WITHOUT injuries- he could rewrite the history books in jaw dropping fashion.
I am worried about Jett's leg healing during this season. My VitalMX mail order medical degree tells me this will persist for a long time and is getting worse when I hear commentary like that this late into the season.
Yeah I get his frustration also. I've never hurt Talus but I messed up my ankle really bad was I was 16 playing Frisbee of all things and holy crap if I wasn't having doubts at the 1 year mark that I'd even be able to walk right again. It was 2 1/2 years before things finally started to feel normal again.
You know how you are getting old?
You can’t tell what is AI and what isn’t.
Off topic but is Jett's hair thinning? That injury really stressing him out. Hope he makes full recovery watching him ride is poetry.
I'm still a little uncertain how much of jett's issue is pain vs functional limitation? Will his ankle just not do the things it used to or is he having pain, or both? If it's mostly pain, he might actually be better off with it fused and just learning to ride around that limitation.
He is in relative terms still early in his recovery for that type of injury but the hard fact is that he won’t be able to ride the same as he used to. How well he adapts based on how the recovery progresses only time will tell and his performance will be track dependent as we’ve seen thus far. We’re only now seeing and hearing the real impact of his injury on his riding and his frustration. It’s such a cunt to see him have to deal with this.

Seems you should be on a children's blog posting content like this.
Come on man!
It’s lack of range of motion and pain when the ankle is forced to extend beyond what he currently has available. The way he has been able to ride so far with that much limited range of motion is pretty insane but last weekend exposed he has a ceiling that he can’t ride around. Fusing it is not an option as that would cap his mobility potential making it even harder to ride.
kinda puts everything into perspective....finishing 1-2 yet both not satisfied. with Hunter we find out mud and sand packed the chain guide and with Jett we find out his ankle is still bothering him.
with deegs and his dangerboyz we find out he could have beat Jett if he didn't fall while Jett sitll had to fall twice in moto 2 for the bed bugs to get their wish
My uneducated guess is that It's mostly pain that is hindering him. In the RedBud broadcast there's a few times that he's on camera making mistakes with his right foot off the peg completely. It looks like he's riding around putting little to no weight on that foot.
Ever see Kobe Bryant or Tom Brady blow up on the sidelines? Champions don't accept losing easily
I got mine fused in 2021 when I was 29 years old. since then I’ve gotta faster & ride better than ever. 2020-2021 it was significantly tougher trying to race with all my pain, yet I had much more mobility. Just didn’t matter cause it was weak, brittle. I had necrosis & eventually just got to the point when after a day of riding or racing I couldn’t load my bike or walk up or down stairs. So it is definitely an option to get it fused, from my experience!
I thought Jett got hurt because his bike malfunctioned over a big jump? That wouldn't really be his fault if true.
Hit neutral on a small double. Don’t think it was a malfunction.
This is a huge bummer to read. I keep seeing folks saying that it takes forever to heal but I haven’t heard anyone say that it likely won’t ever be normal again
I think he was saying he didn’t know what they said prior to seeing the video.
I think it’s pain because of comments he’s made about trying to keep weight off of it while on the bike and that in turn causing him to feel off-balance in certain sections.
The fact that socials is blowing up over these comments and what they mean baffles me (not this thread of course, but others and more so on social media).
How hard is it to comprehend the simplicity that Jett is pissed that he can't ride to his potential, regardless of the result? And that some tracks are more demanding and affect him more than others?
Meanwhile Hunter is pissed he had an issue and lost the moto win?
