He said this is his last full season of smx, and he didn’t say no to the possibility of coming back next year for supercross only. I think he defends the wsx title and does sx only next year.

After listening to the presser and pulp show - I am extremely impressed by Malcolm and his humbleness. What a solid guy. My kiddo and I listened to the presser on the way to school and I told him - that’s how you do life son. Be a good human and good competitor and you win. This sport needs more class acts like him and less punk attitudes. Hats off Malcolm Stewart 🤙🏼

You are absolutely right. I guess the comparison to Reed was based more on accolades rather than performance on the track, but it is an interesting discussion. Sexton is more similar to Stewart - wicked fast and talented, but mistakes/bad starts have hampered his potential. To add to that parallel, Stewart ended his career with very similar accomplishments to Reed - they both had 2 SX titles and 1 MX title.
