Echo Added a reply to McAdoo torn ACL?

Feel like there will always be a stigma in bike racing when it comes to the appropriate handling of injuries. To this day too many people don't take things like concussions seriously. Instead of making the priority the recovery and return to good health, these guys are lauded for how 'gnarly' they are for toughing out things no human being...

No other professionell sport is as stupid as MX / SX, don’t get this wrong, it’s the greatest sport in the world but when it comes to injuries…. In every other sports team bosses, trainers and so on are taking care about their athletes and not sending them out with a fresh torn ACL. And don’t even start with stupid comments how tough and“real man“ they are. It he is in championship reach and its two races to go, go for it. To start a championship like this is just plain stupip notbad ass or anything else.

In our era it's not a question of can you be elite past 30 in sports anymore, it's how willing are you to do it. I doubt theres a lot of motogp guys here but Valentino Rossi still had elite race winning speed until around age 36 / 37

Assuming we're recreating a 2023 sort of vibe - I think he had 7 wins in 15 rounds against chase and coop and they had 4 and 2 a piece. Doable and exciting

RV is one of the baddest dudes to ever throw a leg over a dirt bike. 4 straight SX Championships, only McGrath did the same. Absolute legend.

Your idea of a healthy Chase Sexton couldn't win a single overall against Jett other than Hangtown where he literally died in moto 1 and was a shell of himself in moto 2, getting beat by AP, Jcoop, Hunter & Ando. In 2023 Chase was putting together some of the best outdoors rides in history and didn't lead a single...

I didn't say most dominant. I said it was the greatest - which is to say the most impressive. As a 19 year old rookie *would turn 20 after like round 9 he went undefeated and CHASE SEXTON wasn't able to lead a single lap against him. Chase is definitely superior to any version of Reed outdoors. Supercross - different...

Mate, Reed 2011 is not the same as Reed in 2004 or even his 2009 mx title. In 09 he got demolshed by rv and alessi before they went out. 2011 was his peak season, though. Reed Maybe wins it without the crash but I do think Dungey has a stronger "should have won" case that year. If you're playing...

He beat roczen after losing his visor in a crash and making up a big gap. And how are you mentioning webb and ando who have like 2 national wins combined. Competition wise it's superior to Stews and both of RC's undefeated years. None of them had someone on Chase or Dylan's level

Chase was compromised at pala and red bud. By the end of the season those 2 were at a higher level than what 22 was - he said it himself

We're not about to downplay what is objectively the greatest motocross season in the history of the sport. He beat Chase in 16 motos who by the end admitted that the level had risen from 2022 which everyone said was the "gnarliest season ever" a year where Chase held the red plate a lot - Jett didnt let Chase lead...

I fucking hate the asterisk talk. What are we doing here? It's motocross, it comes with the game. Every title is earned. Every one. Even Chase's sx title. Eli didn't make it to the end of the road. Sorry. Dungey earned all his titles. We're bringing up Jett's sx title last year now? Everyone was healthy, what? Oh Eli wasn't at his absolute peak speed. So for a title to "count" not only does the entire field have to be on the gate and healthy but they have to be at the absolute peak speed for their career. Cool, now...

Jace. We know you will read this. Take it in. Reads to me like everyone pretty much likes you. Most of us just cant stand the repetitive "like" - 'right?"-"bro" talk. Ease up your personal "parallels" and I think your fan base will broaden considerably. This is not me talking, this is what the 1st page has given you. Thank you for all of your hard work, efforts and love for the sport, it is better with you in it!!!

Signs of Deegan being the same sort of deal too. Every time hes crashed he bounces up and sprints to his bike and picks it up right away without much strain it seems

Jase is a down to earth bloke and definitely more likeable than matthes. Speaking as a brit I feel like american consumers have a harder time listening to non north american voices / people.
