Lot of guys in here vastly overestimating how fast their hero/favorite rider is/was compared to how fast 14-22 place riders are nowadays. The list of retired guys that could even make the night show is very short and the list of those guys who could realistically make the main is about 2-3.

The only mainstream names in all of motorsports are lewis hamilton and max verstappen. I wouldn't even want moto to go mainstream it would become too politicized and fake

1/28/2023 5:19am Dovi is one of many road racers I've heard who say their first love was the dirt bike. I watch it all, domestics, world superbikes, endurance and more. So many of these guys when describing their career story describe themselves as "failed motocross kids". It's the purest form of riding for sure
