3/17/2025 2:34pm As long as the magic supercross goose keeps laying those golden eggs, it will always be the main series. But I think you’re mistaken if you think supercross is more dangerous than motocross. The issue is timing; riders getting hurt indoors before they get to race outdoors. Theoretically, flipping the schedule could solve that… then we would end up with riders hurt before supercross starts. And of course, the reality of scheduling stadiums during the height of stick and ball season keeps this from ever happening.

3/17/2025 2:31pm Spot on. People want to have a short drive, sit down indoors, use a proper toilet, have internet, easily accessible snacks ad drinks not to mention viewing the whole track. Motocross is the core, the most freeing and beautiful form of riding, but Supercross sells

3/17/2025 2:27pm SX is the the glitziest and most glamorous form of dirt bike racing in the world. I realize that it's impossible to make such a big change but SMX Playoffs should build towards SX, not vice versa.

3/17/2025 9:38am Devastating. Didn't he have the record for the most consecutive loretta titles? One of the gnarliest kid riders ever and one of the most naturally talented. Injuries rob more potential in this sport than any other I can think of

3/15/2025 9:27am There's nothing to understand that's not plain language. Why would he go out of his way to be critical of a popular and influential figure when he has nothing to gain from it? Intent is irrelevant. Most people can read social cues tho. If you can't, I'm sorry for you. Unless you think ricky is just poorly socialized and telegraphs unintended cues. In which case, the internet keyboard guy argument goes both ways I guess.

3/15/2025 9:24am You won't see many in the media and most of the industry .."if any"... support DB, at least not publicly. Almost no one wanted to comment on it and if they did it was all middle of the road b.s. and we all know why. They don't want to go against the establishment for fear of backlash. Today RC and Diff are in the driver's seat and fully backed by the decision makers...so they don't want to ruffle any feathers by taking DB's side. clasic case of the worst guy won.

3/14/2025 12:36pm More so a new environment that would allow him to stay in SX I suppose. Europe is an extreme culture and livelihood move. Simply hopping on a brand new bike to him and staying in the series could have potentially given him a couple more years. We see how these guys moods can completely flip just from getting a new...

3/14/2025 12:28pm I don't think that's a fair comparison to just switching teams though. I mean packing up all your shit and moving to Europe isn't something that everyone enjoys.

3/14/2025 8:46am He's not really talking out of his ass it's just with hindsight, especially seeing 30+ guys winning in the modern day like Eli, Kenny, Malcolm. Back then he was for sure done with it mentally. New environment could have given him that spunk and drive to keep going. Older villo would likely tell his younger self look you've only got...

3/10/2025 10:33am Would be happy to see it Chase, Jett, Eli, Hunter are all clearly ahead of Webb outdoors IMO. I’d put him around AP, J Coop zone. Actually I think J Coop probably takes a step in his 2nd year

3/10/2025 10:06am It is quite strange. He’s got his 250 mx title. His only 450 win was a very slick but not quite a mudder Millville in 19. 1 1 there for his 2 total moto wins in 450. He’s going to have more premier class supercross titles than outdoor moto wins in his career. I can’t see him ever winning another...

3/10/2025 9:55am Sure looking good to be a 3x sx champ. Pretty rarified air. Has there ever been a rider this good at sx and mediocre at mx. Yeah, yeah, his 250 title. I'm talking the big boy class. I know he's a top 5 guy in mx and that's hardly mediocre. But when he's a sx champ with close to 30 wins, I believe, but gets yarded by a minute in mx it is mediocre

3/9/2025 12:31pm Every SX track should have a righteous sand section. It throws a wrench in the works because it's always changing. Repeat-o-cross, practiced to death tracks suck. How can anyone NOT be a proponent for this?
