Based on this thread, folks seem pretty upset with those responsible for tariffs and price increases. Is that fair to say? My social circle has different political opinions than most motocross folks I interact with so I’m always curious to hear several sides. In a gypsy tales podcast, Deegans mechanic implied that Yamaha upper management came into a trailer and told him “if you want our sport to continue to exist you’d better vote the right way (trump implied)”. Wondering if a 15% unnecessary price increase is what the title manufacturer had in mind to keep the sport alive.

Glad to see most people have come around to the level Jett is at. Which is a level nobody else is at. Yeah he got beat on his bad days by guys on their best days. Overall the dude remains the guy to beat in SX & MX, hell at this point your favorite rider would say the same thing

Halfway through the 450 race 2, Diffey is talking about Mookie racing for gas money for his boat. They then proceed to show Instagram photo of mookie fishing, during the race. No other Motorsport would do this during the race. Its so embarrassingly unprofessional. They say they cater to new Moto fans or the the casual fan but my friend who casually watching sx told me the commentary turns him off from watching more than 5 minutes at a time. The commentary work is the most unprofessional of any motor racing. Only one who deserves a job is JT.

I have friends that I have brought to the sport over the last five years and they all say “WTF” about the production it’s embarrassing but hey let’s be glad that it’s not 1983 where we had 1 race on tv with good broadcasting. Wake the Fuq up, that was over 40 years ago. We should be better by a Fuqing mile in 2025. Expect excellence, it’s what all of our employers expect of us.

Cooksey always has to take it too far, I think he could actually be good if he didn't. The interview with GL was well done imo. Making accusations of a parent mental and physically abusing their child without proof is a horrible thing to do though.

The American ametuer system seems to be chewing up and spitting out its top talents… AC (to some extent) Reynolds, Ryder d. Meanwhile you have kids like Cole Davies, Jett Lawrence coming from the other end of the world where moto is super grass roots and cleaning up. Peaking to soon perhaps? Too much emphasis on Amatuer titles, which mean nothing once you are pro.
