It's a citizens of what state, not US citizenship issue. The parties have to be citizens of different states to get into federal court unless there is a federal law at issue. One can be a citizen of a particular state for purposes of federal court jurisdiction without being a US citizen.
There are reasons to want to be in federal court, and many games played around that. Fed courts kick out matters daily.

According to Gypsy on his latest episode with Keefer, Mirtl apparently has been the “inside man” for Cooksey this whole time giving him inside information to both stir the pot and get people talking about whatever he chooses that week. In Gypsy’s words “Mirtl loves that $hit!”.
Couple this with what Jacob Hayes has posted in his stories (posted earlier in this thread), I think it’s easy to paint a picture that this seems to be all orchestrated by Mirtl to get the heat off him for lack of a better phrase.
I guess you can believe what you want to believe but it all seems very convenient for Mirtl that Cooksey would post that video and call out Dazzy for stuff that can’t be proven to make Mirtl look better in this situation.
How someone like Cooksey can be so vindictive in his words/actions and yet people still choose to listen and take his word as gospel is truly concerning.

From what it sounds like Mirtl doesn’t have much in assets either. Anyway, Defamation is nearly impossible to prove in a court of law and just costs the defendant more money. That’s why you rarely ever see it tried in court.
I'm pretty close to the Lawrence family and from what I can gather is that Hunter and Jett ironed things out with Mirtl hence retracting the charges.
In other words, they made peace on the steps of the court.
I'm happy for this out come as Mirtl is a good dude and the Lawrence's are a straight up humble family.
