How does what Feld is proposing differ from NFL/NBA/MLB? I think MLB has an app of some sort players have to use? Are they going the copyright route that’s going to be read at the beginning or end of the broadcast?

Would this keep the 40 people with cameras from smothering the rider who just won a championship? I’m all for that in any sport including this one.

I would say 100% the “mainstream moto media” knew about this the same time Cooksey knew about this. I don’t agree with the whole the sky is falling narrative though. Having three teams under the same parent manufacturer didn’t make much financial sense.

Put it in his contract he has to train at the Goat Farm. No more Keir turning wrenches on the practice bike. Maybe the team structure would help him find the magic feel he’s looking for.

He has said he doesn’t know what he’s looking for. This has to make it difficult for the test riders to help develop the bike for him. Seeing the big changes to the bike in the early rounds would prove that.

If one of the reasons he left Honda was because of Jett I can’t see him going to Star with the Deegan circus. He’s said in interviews the Honda bike wasn’t really the problem. I don’t think he’d be considered the A rider at Star.

This is what got him to Kawasaki. Another bike will fix everything. Multiple past champions said no bike is perfect and at some point the rider has to stop chasing and ride the bike. It’s worked for Roczen.

I would think at this point they’re planning on him being there at Pala. If they know he’s not ready the confidence level will go up. If it was me you’d see nothing but lunch videos and little to no riding updates regardless of my condition.

When Webb found out Jett was out he decided to switch back to the “25 chassis. Their level of preparedness might not change but their confidence level would definitely go up if they find out he’s not ready or there’s setbacks.

Wasn’t he on a mountain bike a few weeks ago? On a turn track now. Unless you’re there to see what he’s doing everyday few people know his status. I would show little to no riding and let my competition think I’m not ready regardless if I am or not.

I think the high rev engine talk is not true. I would bet most if not all of the moto media have no idea how the desmo valve train works. Look at the dyno charts and see where it makes power compared to the Japanese and Austrian bikes.

The same can be said about Hunter. Don’t forget who finished second in MX last year.
