I believe Lars said in an interview that it didn’t make sense to just throw a rider on the 450 if it wouldn’t help develop the bike for Supercross. There would have to be a rider with similar style/pace to further development. They must not feel like there’s a rider that fits the bill.

Supercross is going to Pittsburgh this year. If attendance is bad they don’t go back. If people don’t subscribe to Peacock and watch the races at home Peacock/NBC drops Supercross/Motocross. I’m not saying the series is teetering on my ticket sale but to say the riders owe the fans nothing is silly.

It actually is my and anyone else’s business that are a customer of Supercross/Motocross. By watching/attending races we pay the riders/athletes salaries. Same as in any professional sport. No fans ultimately equals no sport.

I was in a dealer a few weeks ago and they thought it was belt but they admittedly didn’t have any solid info to go off of. It does look to be cast like it would be chain but I don’t think the traditional belt cover would hold up to off road conditions.

The only measurement I’ve ever seen for cam chain stretch is pin to pin distance.

I’m interested to see the valve service intervals and the belt adjustment intervals. I haven’t been around Ducatis since the mid 2000’s but I know belt adjustment was measured with a hertz gauge. I believe belt replacement is currently at 5 years. I wonder how or if this changes.

Kawasaki might take him but would he take Kawasaki? They could sign him and not re-sign Anderson but would he want to be teammates with Prado? Didn’t he leave Honda because he wanted to be the “A” rider? It seems like Kawasaki’s future is Prado.

If he doesn’t re-sign with KTM where does he go? Honda has the Lawrence’s and Yamaha has Webb/Tomac so they’re out. Kawasaki has Prado. Suzuki with Roczen? Develop the Ducati or Triumph? He wants to be the #1 rider I think his only option is to stay with KTM.

Hopefully the vendors that got screwed out of their 70% didn’t put all their eggs in one basket. It would be interesting to know how long they haven’t been paid for. It would’ve made this story better if they would’ve stopped supplying product until they got paid. I wonder how many vendors stick with them going forward. Screw me once……

You’re looking at points not race results. Only top 20 overall score points. Seven XC1 riders finished. Overall 31 riders finished on the lead lap.

I’m sure motocross bike sales are a small percentage of what they sell. Even smaller percentage of that knows who Cooksey is. I think Langston Motorsports sales will be fine.
