I listen to Gypsy from time to time, not to hear him, but to hear the guys he interviews. I like hearing their stories, Gypsy doesn’t really bother me with the Bro, Dude stuff. Cooksie on the other hand, I’ve kind of gotten past him. He may have good interviews with others but I can never seem to get past his intro’s. The guy just seems to have me looking for an arm sling he has to wear from patting himself on the back.
Next thing you know, Langston Motorsports which I think GL owns, will be sponsoring the Cooksey channel. Not sure why a businessman would align himself with a guy like Cooksey. I used to watch him, but lately I've figured out he just tries to be controversial and always says he's trying to help riders, meanwhile he attacks guys like Roczen and even his wife, and uses Deegan as click bait for his videos. Bizarre behavior, but I get it, he wants views on his channel.
But GL runs a motorcycle shop, good way to alienate half your customer base by getting involved with a Cooksey type individual.
GL also won the supermoto championship in 2003.
I’m sure motocross bike sales are a small percentage of what they sell. Even smaller percentage of that knows who Cooksey is. I think Langston Motorsports sales will be fine.

This is a pretty common mistake, because it uses an opposite to say "I don't care." The correct term is "I could not care less." It means "I care so little, that it is impossible to care any less than I do."
If you say, "I could care less," it means you care a little bit at least. In other words, it would be possible to care less than I do, because I care some amount.
PS- Langston Motorsports is owned by GL's parents (and I'm sure he probably has a stake in it too.) They are super nice people, and they run one of the few family-owned shops still in Southern California. If you're anywhere near the Perris/Menifee/Temecula area, you owe it to yourself to go check them out.

Just listened to the interview. I don't know much about this Cooksey fellow, but I found his interviewing style was great. I also believe if Cooksey is going around consistently threatening physical violence publicly on people, why isn't he locked up? That is against the law, right? As far as the interview, so much of what GL stated was controversial, but also quite believable and a whole bunch of no shit. Matthes is lazy, Wasserman is corrupt, Feld is greedy, RC is a shitty analyst, management doesn't want riders to organize, well yeah I can see that? So no, I cannot see how any of GL's statement could piss off people too much, it was all pretty much stuff you could figure on your own.
I'll always respect the man who stood up fir himself in 2020 whilst 90% of men bent over like a bitch.

GL and Matthes's relationship kind of fell apart around the same time of the 2nd drunk GL episode....I also believe that different political views played a big part of GL turning on Matthes.....Kooksey has never interviewed anybody credible....anyone that would sit down with that dipshit instantly loses whatever credibility that they had...

I love Langstons dealership and he does have a great family, but what exactly do you mean by family owned dealership? A guy, with a family owns Temecula and FBC. A guy with a family owns Berts Mega Mall. A guy with a family owns Chaparral. All these dealerships have an owner and family members working somewhere in the business.
What is the bar for a dealership to be called "family owned"?

Unless you’re breaking a guideline rule, I don’t delete posts. I do move topics to the dumbgeon sometimes when they’re shit shows, but my level of moderation is extremely minimal. I try to let the forum and the users moderate themselves.
This is the second time I’ve seen “sold Tomac’s ECU to a friend of mine”.
1. I wish I had a factory ECU, can you point me to where I can get one?
2. That would be stupid for me to sell.
3. A factory ECU would be one of the most pointless things to have considering you can’t access it, you don’t have the engine associated to it, the wiring harness, etc.
