Kawi has had a reputation in the American paddock for being fairly rigid regarding their bike setup. It works well when they have riders that have similar riding styles to how they want the bikes and the components they want to use but when riders want to deviate from that and search for something that fits the rider better Kawi doesn’t seem like they are on board. Well the fact that the Tomac's and others have said there are things Kawi will not allow it seems to be a thing with them.

RV was a stud but his riding style was drastically different than Wiemer. A fast bike and a fast rider are going to be quick at the pro level. They are chasing tenths of a second to try to be faster than the other guys so comfort and predictability do matter. The top ten guys in outdoors are all on...

The bike set-up looked way off in the first moto. I don’t know if they were expected different track conditions or made some changes looking for more speed or comfort but the bike looked to have a fair amount of understeer coming down the hills. He looked like Bubba in his 125 days, very fast but in a checkers or...

I absolutely believe the focus on SX in the US has put the SMX riders at a deficit to the MXGP riders for motocross. MXGP riders race motocross all year. Their training and bike setup are focused solely on MX. They should be better outdoors. Unless we build an outdoor SX track complete with whoops… Put another way, would Jeffrey Herlings be better prepared for MXGP if he spent Oct through April/May only riding supercross? Of course not.

You would think he's got the moto equivalent of battered woman syndrome, at this point. Just wondering when the next shoe is going to drop. I small mistake on the track doesn't lead to an actual crash but he's unsettled for several laps. I was never really a fan but his talent is undeniable and the dude has never quit. He's been beaten down and just keep rebuilding himself. I wish hin all the success in whatever he chooses to do after mx. You gotta feel like he's not going to do this much longer

So we had some friends over to enjoy the day and watch the race… got off the boat a little late and decided to bbq and play yard games until the race was over so we could watch it in full because the live broadcast wouldn’t let us start from the beginning. It’s 10 pm. We ended up watching the post race interviews on YouTube and everyone left. Replay still isn’t available. You guys are doing a great job. We open the app and alll we see is interviews with “Jett’s hangtown win”. Y’all are a special kind of special.

No he’s a mental midget, but he’s not 4-7 if he’s comfortable. Who knows if he can get comfortable anymore though.

Colorado. 3 ft passing rule which I’m totally fine with when they are single file and at the edge of the road. Different rules(and behavior) for stop lights and signs though. I get being able to run a red when you’ve stopped and verified safe when you are the only vehicle there. A bike won’t trigger a light but a...

My state has its fair share and then some. The entitlement attitude is the hardest thing to deal with, share the road as it’s convenient for the bicyclists but don’t share the law. Drivers have to give them space but bikes don’t have to stop at stop signs and lights, ride 2-4 abreast at 14 mph on a 45-50 mile...

Enve wheels are made just down the road from my office, those cock-suckers have planned rides where multiple groups of 30-40 of them head out on their ride and they stagger about 5 minutes apart. God help you if you get on one of the little two lane roads they ride. and dude is right, when you go to pass them they throw their hands up like you're the villain. fuck those guys.

True and true . But let’s be honest this bike is aimed at off-road guys and vet MX guys , both can ride virtually anything they want.

Marchbanks qualified almost 4 seconds faster than Eli and was clearly at a better pace all morning. He had every right to think he had the pass made. Good luck telling any racer to let off the gas so they can get passed in the first few turns of the season opener. Time to get off the internet and go spin a few laps with others to remember what it feels like.

90/10 means single cylinder to me, unless that 90 is mostly graded easy dirt road type stuff. Ymmv. I personally don't think the 300 rally would be a good choice but I'm just some random dude on the internet.

They do not have a portable CT in the Alpinestars rig. Just xray and ultrasound equipment. Only motorsport I’m aware of that has CT scanners onsite is MotoGP. Not even F1 has one. Largely because it’s not necessary to assess immediate trauma. They’re better off stabilizing and zooming to the nearest hospital. What good does a trackside CT do if they still need to transport? Better to get a patient to a hospital where the injury can be immediately treated. They’re looking for internal bleeding mostly. Critical shit that will kill you in minutes.
