"The Season is too long!" Yet riders training just as hard during the "week off" because these teams don't know how to take a week off. SMH....

Dang it, i’m glad he was able to stay healthy until now this season and get experience on the bike and racing in general.

Devastating. Didn't he have the record for the most consecutive loretta titles? One of the gnarliest kid riders ever and one of the most naturally talented. Injuries rob more potential in this sport than any other I can think of

I think they should have some sort of restriction in place re how much they ride during the season, similar to F1 with their enforced breaks. If anyone caught testing practicing etc during those times the team are fined and have point deducted etc. They don’t need to ride as much as they do during the season.

How would the AMA police that? There’s a lot of training facilities and places to ride now, people would find a way to train on the bike at some location only a select few know about.

They won't lose anything if they take a week off. Can they make a boke that much better? Is a rider really going to get that much better in a week? Fatigue is a real thing for these guys, Physical and mental. What the hell causes a fluke crash, hard enough to break a leg needing surgery? It's the grind, not the bikes or tracks causing these injuries.

"Fluke crash" = play riding or bike malfunction

There would obviously need to be some arrangements put in place, not saying it would be easy, but the punishment would need to be harsh as deterrent. Anyone caught, the rider is automatically excluded from the next race etc, so it makes them think twice incase they do get caught. They don’t need to ride as much as they do during the week. You would think tbe teams would see this and even implement there own restrictions on the amount they ride.

That sucks, he’s been building nicely this season and keeping it off the ground- really rough since moving to the pros.

Perhaps stacking Loretta titles and not riding in the pack can work against you when you enter the pros, hope he heals fast

There's a few weekends a year where I'm the fastest dude in the universe! Why is it always on an off-weekend? 🤔

The American ametuer system seems to be chewing up and spitting out its top talents… AC (to some extent) Reynolds, Ryder d. Meanwhile you have kids like Cole Davies, Jett Lawrence coming from the other end of the world where moto is super grass roots and cleaning up. Peaking to soon perhaps? Too much emphasis on Amatuer titles, which mean nothing once you are pro.

No they don’t ride enough. They waste too much time training off the bike . That’s easy to cheat & skate threw .  Local rich kids had 6 rm125,s in 98 pro to c rider everyone rode more . Every play  bball Team practice is intense 6 days a week . Then we played pu games at various gyms.  We practiced after practice with team mates 6 days a week. We never lifted weights yet wayy stronger & much quicker than  players now.  A 80,90,s college team would blow a current team off the court today easily.  Much tougher too because it was a much more physical game.  Mx changed too look at the jumpy smooth national tracks.

Yeah look at how many 125 emx riders race LL. None if 10 did they would easily hv the top 10 spots .  But the fast 125 riders here don’t race LL.
