Another * Championship for Sexton…

Chase doesn't shred ligaments and break bones when he dabs a foot. Maybe his competition should be more durable. Yes it's a ridiculous thing to say. Just as ridiculous as putting asterisks on championships

Chase has been looking very settled this year but Webb is a fucking shark...I mean a terminator.

It's weird because Eli is a master of keeping his feet on the pegs and then this happens.

I would speculate that ET3 had a hairline crack after the practice incident and racing the heat and main caused it to became displaced.

Either way this is terrible news. Hope Eli has a quick recovery.

I don't get the bashing of the medics. I get it they aren't perfect no one is, I don't recall them ever saying he got Xrays at the track. If he did I would assume a 20 minute main event jumping 75' triples along with every other jump plus whoops would have probably made it worse than it was to begin the main resulting in a nastier break that we see on the release fractures get missed on Xrays all the time. This place is so damn negative anymore.

That's shit news for Eli, and from my perspective, the series. Jett and Eli are my two favourite riders - and to me - provide the most excitement. Chase versus Webb does not have the same ring to it.

Pick a long shot for the championship because with the way this season is going it could be anyone now with Jett and Tomac out:

What if Mookie has found his happy place?

After seeing him ride and knowing what a first win does to your confidence, I'm all aboard the Mookie train for a possible championship contender.

Ya I have a hard time believing they didn’t see that at the stadium if they did any x-rays. If they did, not a good look for them at all. That’s clear as day.

Not defending but it depends on how many views are taken at the track. In a hospital setting the x-rays are reviewed by a radiologist so they might be more accurate. I've also heard that swelling can obscure a break so who knows? I had what was called a severe sprain in high school with a lot of swelling. It hurt like a mofo. 6 years later, a radiologist tells me he sees where I broke my fibula. So you can have a sprain and break your fibula at the same time I guess.

The didn't notice Jetts ACL either at the track. These things together with the various scandals with Brian Moreau and others makes me think that the medical team is not very good at all.

Agreed.    ...but everyone eventually dabs or catches their foot in a fluke.       Hell, I've done it on my ADV bike running trails....if I didn't have on my SG12s, my ankle would have been toast.    I limped around for a while after that one.

Love the guy and super jazzed for his first win..... however, Malcolm has a horrible propensity for finding the ground way too often if we're being honest.

Would be cool though.... Stewart brother titles.  😎

Soon as I saw it happen in quali I thought it was his knee, I knew it was serious by the way he was looking up shaking his head as he rode off the track. He’s only done that one other time and it was his Achilles injury. TBH a Fib is not worst case scenario, he’ll be ready for outdoors no doubt.

He has around 100 days to recover for the first round of Pro Motocross at Fox Raceway (May 24). Let’s hope he can make it

The wife:" Ya know. We should sneak away and go to Detroit Supercross this weekend..."

Me 11 seconds later: "Goes online purchases two nice tickets"

Race Day Live LITERALLY 10 seconds after hitting pay now: "AC is talking about internet betting on Moto and then Eli breaks his leg."

Me: "Well Shit. Looks like we are going to Red Bud instead of the in-laws wedding."

Moto fans say A LOT of dumb shit, but the whole "handed a title" nonsense is the worst. Whoever is handing out titles always seem to give it to extremely fast and consistent professional racers who have been in the title hunt since the first gate drop. Sexton had the fucking red plate when Tomac got injured. Tomac had been on the podium one time all year.

Abide Moto says we should ban Alpinestars boots. They're obviously made a lot like their visors. Plus Eli apparently needs like bear trap footpegs. Probably bc the soles give zero feel.

What's wrong with Gaernes.

"Dabs a foot"

Same. When coop sees blood in the water he goes full attack mode. Its crazy. I expect him to probably holeshot and win next week. I feel like chases consistency and weirdo tides are still too all over the place to neat coop. Ppl forget the year chase won tomac was in first and webb was in second, then webb crashed out and tomac crashed out a week or two later. Webb was also right on jett right up to the end last year. This season has everything set up for webb to grab his third championship. I wish it was tomac but the universe wouldnt let it be.

And just like that.  The best season in many years is toast after losing all these top contenders and kennys mishap.

If it was just a hairline fracture before riding the qualifier and main, would it snap like that from riding?

You can’t see a soft tissue injury with xray.  Need a MR to see a ligament tear. Or at the very least a CT with contrast.
