Will the trend of US not sending it's best eventually kill the MXdN? Not taking anything away from the guys picked to go this year, but we're sending a "charity" team. We either send our best or we don't go IMO. This is a pride race and will sound nationalistic, but without the US it's a glorified MXGP race. The hype of MXdN has always been built on USA vs. GP and always will be. The allure and attraction this prestigious race brings is broken without the best from both sides of the pond. This year’s MXoN hasn’t looked that great for us ever since it was announced. Bummed AC can’t/isn’t going but I’m not even surprised anymore. When was the last time we even sent our top 3 riders to the MXoN as a team? Whether it’s the rider not wanting to go or the team not allowing the rider to go, America has given up on the MXoN in favor of Supercross. It’s sad but true. Technically, you can only count half of those as possible championships. Your hero isn't expected to win both series' , why should Eli be?
