I know this much: if Herlings started out front, Tomac wouldn’t have caught him.

Tomac’s come from behind rides aren’t gonna cut it against riders with similar pace (I.e., top euro riders).

There’s not a person on this planet past or present that would have beaten Tomac at washougal. He was so far back that second moto and just sliced n diced like they were nothing. God why can’t the nations be held at shoug, what a beautiful track for it.

At one point in the race he was 4+ seconds faster a lap....
