This "No cross over from NASCAR". Is this true? From what side is this from - The Sponsors, The respective Sports' controllers, be it the France family ( I think they are The Power in NASCAR, but may be wrong) or Feld, or, the Team : JGR, itself etc, etc?????? I've read that NASCAR has severely contracted in the last few years. I've seen how massive the various NCar teams are - I think JGRs set up has been highlighted in a few Bike magazine articles. In a time of contraction within NCar, you'd think that Sponsors of JGRs NCar...

I agree completely. Now, I'm not a marketing agent, but from the outside looking in, you'd think name recognition alone would secure a top level title sponsor for JGR. You hear comments about Feld blocking sponsor activation (PulpMX), and I'm not going to pretend like I know all the other issues there could be between existing JGR sponsors and potential new ones. It's just unfortunate a committed team like them have to struggle to stay afloat when they're the "factory" team.

I'm sure they do, but some weeks I look at the comments and am amazed at what motivates people to be fans or not of a particular rider.

The stupid meter is pegged at 10.... Yeah. Tomac sucks at sx... Who has the most sx wins in the current crop of rider's?? I hardly think you could say he sucks, rides dirty, etc. A bike malfunction and a couple of tip overs cost him a few titles. NOBODY here's knows why sometimes it seems like he's calling it. Could be bent bars, a tweaked subframe, or it could be him, who knows, but to say he's not a great sx rider shows how dumb some of the posters here are. And he's one of the cleanest rider's ever...

Dying or not, NASCAR is a far bigger sport than SX so bringing a little star power to the booth can't hurt. I may be naive but I thought it was more to benefit SX than NASCAR

4/28/2019 8:19am I agree 100%. AJ doesnt just appeal to nascar fans, but indy and sportscar fans as well. Hes one of the most broad ranged motorsports guys in the country. Many also probably dont know he doesnt race nascar anymore, i believe the rolex 24 was his only race this year.
