Steve Matthes will be on Race Day Live in about 35mins... Feld left the discretion up to Daniel Blair about letting him on or not... could be career suicide for DB!! Laughing I think Matthes will behave though

As far as beyond 2020 goes - I do see Chad racing four wheels, but it's hard for me to see him doing NASCAR.... he seems like more of a WRC guy to me. Plus, as Rciky and TP199 showed, talent on 2 wheels does not equate to talent in NASCAR style oval track racing. But who knows! Time will tell Smile

Nonsense!

Travis raced Nascar for multiple years. Same for RC.

Travis has also raced rally for 10+ years, winning multiple national titles in the process.

Both of them 'had' or have the passion for four wheels, hence racing it professionally, unlike a 37 year old who's still trying to ply his trade on two wheels. I highly doubt Reed has more experience than RC on four wheels, let alone Travis, who's been racing at a decent level for nearly 15 years!

I ment that he probably has more experience on 4 wheels, while he is still racing 2 wheels.

I guess it is just my opinion/view of how passionate he is for 4 wheels. He has been talking about it for a long time.

As a nobody looking in i think reed has a higher racing iq than either of them. Rc got by on unrivaled work ethic, tp on extraterrestrial levels of talent.

Not sure either of them have the testing feel and racing iq of reed though. And that may translate massively in other forms of racing.

Like i said just a nobodys opinion.

I'd like to suggest that for one race during the season we all refrain from bitching about Ralph, Ricky, the coverage, the riders or the outcome. For one night can we appreciate the big picture instead of choking on our particular gripes? I'm not asking that we ignore the flaws...just not vocalize them so much. Thanks in advance.

Pulp should have split the bike give away pot a little better, something like 50-30-20 would helped the privateers a bit better.

I'm gonna guess they've already put him in a car on the track and identified potential. Reedy wouldn't have pulled up stakes and moved to the team's doorstep for a "fill-in" SX ride.

Badd: Hell yeah Sipsjöbanan! I've done a lot of racing on that track, it used to be really beat up but I've heard that the track is really fine these days.

I catch up when I wake up. I miss the banter though. Thanks for what you guys put up.
I'd say most have dropped off because the feed rarely works well, they talk shit over the main parts or cross to a 3 digit guy picking his bike up, straightening his levers, his googles, his junk, starting the bike and getting going again, and then worst of all, they want you to pay for it !!!!!!!

You can't buy your way into mx/sx. But there have been plenty of guys buy their way into car racing, with money or their name.

I never said he was going to win a supercar race, I just said he will go car racing in 2021.

It's not my favourite. I like sand. But it was good today. I think they had a world championship round here a long time ago.

No worries my friend. I ain't the boss of anybody. I just thought we could all end the season on a high note instead of bitching and griping about the same old stuff.

He is very capable in a V8 supercar that’s for sure a couple of years ago he jumped in a car that he shares a sponsor with for a crack and after only a very limited time to adjust was only 2 secs off the pace of their full time driver, Imagine how well he would go with some decent seat time and preparation. But if he races four wheels it won’t be in Australia he has already said he doesn’t have the desire to move back anytime soon.

Damnit. This bench race thread has gotten worse than RC's obsession with racing at Bristol. I feel responsible.. Laughing
