Not trying to argue but how can he win every GP he entered and still finish 3rd OA today? Congrats to Prado one of the Super Talents no doubt.

Pride. The reason why the relationship soured is Pride. On both sides. Kawasaki got butt hurt that Stewart would dare to switch. And Stewarts were too prideful to go to Kawasaki and ask for the contract. A lot of bad things come from too much pride, and they teach kids in school pride this and pride that, sometimes humility is more important than pride

Sometimes the GPs can look so amazing with perfect racing and beautiful back drops and then it can look like shit where a guy can score over 10 points while getting lapped 6 times throughout the day. I have been critical of certain aspects of GB fans at least on Vital but the fact that GB will not host a GP is unthinkable, unfatahamble. It is a pillar of the sport, the foundations in which everything we see today started there and now this! The things you want to actually say about GL would get you banned but I bet...

When it moved to the earlier date this year I feared this might happen. Dixon made it sound like he was on board with the idea of a GP in (basically) winter but it felt to me like that was the only slot they would let him have. The promoter is going wherever there is money to be made, clearly the UK wasn’t profitable enough

Also The Netherlands TBA, would be a proper shit show if it’s going to be Assen instead of Valkenswaard.

If Adam didn't break the rules, then JC is wrong. OK. Fine. But can we all agree the rule is fucking dumb? If you fuck up so bad that you're in other sections of the track, you shouldn't be able to come back on the track without losing time. And don't give me that "well after rider X got back on the track he made sure he didn't gain any time". Bullshit. I mean fuck, Sexton ended up in New Mexico after his fuckup but magically ended up right behind the guy he was battling with. New Rule: If you...

I found it actually surprising that nothing was said (on TV) and done (by the AMA) about AC's Pala Moto 1 start, where he went straight for the side lane (with firmer dirt), outside the yellow markers.. I originally thought that he was bumped out of his line but the video replay says otherwise, he just goes for it and doesn't try one bit to get back on the track during the whole straightaway : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31eGgT7Roi8 He did't get a great start but still exited in 12th or so, much better than what he would have been if he had...

The current rule is total bs. As long as safe to do so, you should have to re-enter the track where you left it. In SX, I understand this is extremely difficult in practice, but in the great outdoors, it’s certainly possible 95 percent of the time. Chase sexton also ran off the track in moto 1, missed a huge section of track, and re-entered without any position penalty. It totally ridiculous. I’m on Cooper’s side here. AC also knows it, why did he straight up apologise as soon as possible in his interview after the race?

What if he kept going at the same speed he was going at when he left the track. Would it really matter then. He slowed from the speed he was going when it flew off. What if would have came to a stop?. Theoretically, any movement would have been an acceleration. The rule is unfortunately is vague and ambiguous.

A lot of people commenting that AC slowed down after entering the track to make sure he didn’t gain an advantage. But the rule says you can’t enter with an advantage. Slowing down after entering would almost be an admission that you entered too soon and are now trying to adjust for it. That might be why AC was apologizing in the podium interview. Cooper probably saw AC entering equal or ahead of him which is why he said he broke the rule. The rule is murky though especially when it may determine the overall.

Unfortunately you're correct. And I say unfortunately because the current rule basically allows you to make mistakes go off the track and not have suffered any time penalty. If a rider has to go back to where they went off they're going to lose a lot of time in most instances.

Yup. AND teams ought to be schooling their riders to take advantage of it. Re-Enter safely where you exited is the right rule. Adam could of done that easily but he would have lost a ton of time to Justin

That’s a good idea about having to stop before re-entering a track. There should be some negative consequence for leaving the track due to rider error or decision.

I'm not the one that decides if what AC did is within the rules or not, but I like cooper saying something about it on tv instead of bitching on social media all week.

I think AC reentered as cleanly as he was able to, and deserves the win. BUT keep in mind that Cooper didn't have the benefit of a zoomed out camera angle like we viewers, or the announcers, did. From his limited perspective, AC's manuever looked sketchy; add that to elevated heartrate/adrenaline/relative inexperience and things got heated after the race. I DO commend Cooper for speaking up. Even if he was wrong, he had the balls and heart to stand up for himself and defend what he thought was right. Very admirable IMO.
