There is some truth, he was at a certain time a very hot prospect such as webb, but how can you miss that he broke his back while cross rutted by Cooper I think which then totally derailed what was planned and the potential 450 contracts ? That is easy to judge when bringing half of the truth. Right now I just hope he is ok so he can do a great summer. Then we will see, he doesn't have the size for the 450 either but who knows where he could be in 2 years, maybe top 5 or...

I know this week was just a hybrid SX track but man was he looking comfortable at the faster pace and more wide open track. And while I know the Suzuki isn’t a bad bike, I feel the outdoors will only suit the Suzuki more than in SX at this moment in time. Couple that with he’s actually had time on the bike vs the start of SX and he hasn’t mentioned any physical or health problems… I’m pretty optimistic right now! I remember him running Eli and Chase speed last year outdoors early in the motos but would eventually...

The transition to SX is a tough one when a rider has mainly ridden MX his whole life. I think he has done fine and has showed the has the talent and speed to be a future title contender. He just needs to continue to learn and gain experience. I expect him to win 1 or 2 motos this summer in the outdoors and contend for podiums weekly, with for sure finishing top 5 on the season and possibly top 3. Hes a great talent and we're fortunate to get him in our series here in the US.

He basically HAS been running up near the top 5 a bunch, but small crashes and issues have held him back. I think the list Roger and Ian gave him on the important scale for this year is. 1. Get through SX season healthy. 2. Gain experience 3. Don't let your confidence get destroyed. He came to the US as a world champ, it would be easy to get bummed out if he were riding around in 16th. I feel like he has accomplished all 3 of those so far.

I’d like to see him do well too but 30 + 2 twice in the summer heat with only one hour to recover in between is a little more to ask of your body than what SX does to you. I hope he has it in him. Time will tell.

Both guys were well and truly dropped by Chase, Bam & Kenny. That was the only schooling going on. As a CW fan it was good to see him hold off Eli for the full twenty, though I feel like Eli had the superior pace, but not enough pace to pass Coop and drop him in one move. Eli is experienced enough and smart enough to know that he probably stood to lose more than he would gain getting into a knock down drag out, tit for tat battle with Coop over a single point. I'm a fan of both. I wouldn't go so far as to say Webb schooled Eli. Webb DID drop him toward the end though. I wanna see this come down to the final race.
