I think coop is pissed and sees it as dirty because he gave deegan room to go through on the inside and deegan made contact anyways. Coop even said Deegs was faster in his interview. Coop definitely didnt block off the inside and Coop definitely knows how to. Kinda makes sense as to why he looked surprised by deegans contact, it definitely wasnt because he didnt know he was there. Id be pissed too. Give you an easy pass and you take me out? F that.

Then, with Coop not really putting up a strong fight for position, Deegan just puts him on the ground for no reason when he could have passed him easily. Coop conceded that Deegan was faster. I’ve said this in other threads but Deegan always shows who he truly is when his back is against the wall, so all this “he’s different now, he’s maturing, he’s humble etc” is completely untrue. I don’t think Coop is mad about the move itself. I think that was a couple years worth of dealing with the circus and finally snapping a bit. I can’t stand Deegan but I don’t think that was an egregiously dirty move. Dumb? Yes absolutely. Dirty? Probably not. The move ultimately cost Deegs a podium. Knocking Coop down and letting 94 past put him off the box ( lost 4 more points) Coops overall position was never affected for the night. I reckon Webb will tee him up in every race moving forward now, should be good !

This is not simply about the move, I think most reasonable people can work that out themselves. See Skypig’s comment above if you need a hint.

I think this is the root cause of Coops issue: A team mate, training partner, person he has spent time helping - even swapping suspension etc, who proves over and over he has no “respect for anyone”. Deegans parents should be ashamed. But in reality are just counting “clicks” and “likes”, and are too self engrossed to even see an issue.

I don't really have an issue with Deegs move on Webb. Thats racing. But I have even less of an issue with Webb showing him the consequences of his bitch moves on a teammate and "friend"
