I don’t think Coop is mad about the move itself. I think that was a couple years worth of dealing with the circus and finally snapping a bit.
I can’t stand Deegan but I don’t think that was an egregiously dirty move. Dumb? Yes absolutely. Dirty? Probably not.
I think it’s another case of Deegan being faster, but still choosing to be an asshole for some reason. And I think it’s because Haiden just isn’t a nice person. I mean, to fuck up and fall, take out your teammate for no real reason, the call people names on the podium? Come on man.

The take out move on Davies two years back was worse!
I’ve said this in other threads but Deegan always shows who he truly is when his back is against the wall, so all this “he’s different now, he’s maturing, he’s humble etc” is completely untrue. He then always goes in front of the camera and tries to justify it. After taking Coop out, he said, “I’m sorry but I had to do it. I didn’t want to make a dirty move on him but I HAD to.” When he got caught cutting the track outdoors this year, and when confronted by media about it, he said something along the lines of, “there were no markers there so it was totally chill for me to be going there.” When he got booed for taking out Davies in Supercross it was, “if you don’t like it, you can suck it!”
So not only do his actions show who he is, but his reaction to being exposed also REALLY show who he is.
You think Diaper boy would have learned his lesson after Kitchen evened up the scoreboard last year, but maybe not.
I do wish Webb would not have stated He would make sure Deegan does not win.

I don't remember Pichon getting benched, but I do remember Bayle not being provided a bike at the last round of a Motocross season when he made it clear he would not help Stanton.
While it might be cool for Webb to get benched but show up on a private bike it would seem doubtful he would be much of a factor without his Starr setup.
It would also seem to put his appearance at MXoN if he loses his star bike with his outdoor setup for that race.
Leave it to Dweegan to mess up our MXoN effort for another racer when he refuses to go himself.

We all know who the common denominator is. Look how other riders (star included) interact with deegan….if they even do. All the 250 star guys seem to get along really well now that the toxic dbag is gone. Dude has done 3 sx races and making enemies. Told savatgy he could “get that fade” in WSX. Clearly said some smartass comment to Webb in the truck. (4 years of ducking mxdn also).
As usual some can’t seem to understand it isn’t that the move was mild or wasn’t that bad … it’s that he didn’t have to do the move at all to complete the pass. He never has to do the move, he does it on purpose to drive the clicks and the false persona that his father has created around his boy. He didn’t have to do the move on Davies and he 1000% didn’t have to once again take out his teammate to make this pass… it’s sad that he consistently feels the need to do it really, can you imagine the clicks, follows, cheers, lines at the truck, wins, and championships he would have if he didn’t keep doing these unnecessary things?

As a Deegan hater I’m gonna go on record and say that pass was not that dirty at all, he panicked, there was not not much race time left and he wanted that spot quick, I love Webb but I think that was an overreaction, hope the AMA does not review it because it was fine in my book
If it was anyone but Deegan, teammate or not, the pass would have been fine considering the series has a huge payout. But it was Deegan, so…
