A lot of you are looking at the pass in a vacuum and not in the context. The pass on its own isn't the dirtiest pass, but Deegan had just gone down and Coop went by him. Then, with Coop not really putting up a strong fight for position, Deegan just puts him on the ground for no reason when he could have passed him easily. Coop conceded that Deegan was faster. So clearly Deegan was just pissed off at himself for crashing in the sand, for being slower than Prado, and decided he was going to take it out on Coop. Hence having no respect for anyone. Why make enemies out of one of the few guys willing to actually train with you and help you, when you're faster anyways and can make the pass without alienating people? But Deegan has never been renowned for intelligence.
Can you imagine the conundrum that Wolf Girl is in....

Deegan already got everything he could from Coop with coaching and setup. Nothing left to gain, so burn the fake friendship, that way Coop will go away.

I suggest you go back and look at some of the battles between Bob Hannah and Kent Howerton, or Jeff Matiasevich and Damon Bradshaw. If you’re interested in teammates going at it, check out Mike LaRocco and Mike Kiedrowski. That shit was every week.
The pass Deegan did on Cole was textbook, as was his pass on Cooper Webb (who has a history of riding aggressive for passes). The series is paying a lot of money and positions and points matter, as it did with the pass on Cole Davies.
I’ll tell you what is disgusting though. Motokiwi calling for a Webb fan to deal with Deegan and his dad Brian. As of now that has 26 likes. Calling for someone to be dealt with by a fan over dirt bike racing and what was a fair pass. Deegan haters are pathetic and have zero standing to question anyone’s character when they are calling for a fan to physically assault a rider. Anyone who liked that comment is a piece of shit.
