It's obviously because Pichon is French...they walk away from everything!

James is the fastest motocross/supercross racer in the world. It's not even arguable. I don't think I would call him the greatest motocross/supercross racer in the world, but I'm not sure, because I haven't given it much thought. Of the active riders, I can't think of anyone greater off the top of my head. I've seen him race maybe a...

Hey Retired, I'm pretty sure that James figures after racing every weekend of his entire life (when not too injured), winning about 30 amateur titles, a few AMA MX National Championships (including one perfect season) and a couple of Supercross titles while earning millions gives him the right to do just about anything he wants to, including skipping the outdoors...

Bauer Added a reply to RIP Andrew McFarlene

I met Andrew the first time when I was writing press kits for Yamaha and later YOT. What a pleasant guy! Super respectful and very cool. I got to know him a little better and the last time I saw him was a couple years back when he was down at the Yamaha test track in Corona on his Suzuki...

Bauer Added a reply to who makes the decisions to race in

Looked like the same dirt they used when we raced there in 1979, Bob...just at a different stadium. It was a rutted mofo of a track back then. I remember Butch Lee saying that the dirt had been dredged up from the bay or some shit. But we all raced it and we were happy to do it. Since when...

I like what he had to say, with the exception of his response to the last question. He didn't really answer Eric's question about what could be better. I know this much. The people at Feld are the same people that have been promoting Supercross since it was called Pace, and they definitely care about the riders. Up until this...

So you got into the sport in 93 and feel pretty confident about commenting on how the tracks were in the 80s. Wow, you even quote David Bailey, "as far as statistics go". Please show us David's quote, and while you're at it you might as well look up his source for those statistics. I know David pretty well and...

Reisenberg, you sound jealous to me. I really don't understand what anyone could have to bitch about with this family. They bring dollars into the sport, they support the industry and they support their kid's dream. Believe it or not, this is America and people can spend their money on anything they want to. My guess is that if Jaissac...

Bauer Added a reply to Josh Hill Re-Broken Ribs

4/21/2010 10:51am
I broke a rib at Corona one night and still raced and won my final moto in the second class I was racing. I was in a lot of pain, but it wasn't till I woke up the next morning and couldn't breathe that I knew something was wrong. Went to the hospital, where they informed me that my lung...

Hey, he'd already been rambling for five minutes when it started taping. Too bad I didn't know you back then, Guy B, I'd have gone for you, too! Hehehe

So if he "ment (sic) to take out" Dungey, Villo got what he deserved? So last year, if Reed had been successful in knocking Stewart down in Vegas, so he could win the championship, he would have deserved what? Death? Drawn and quartered? According to you then, basically every rider out there should suffer a debilitating injury, because I guarantee...

Agreed! I'm hanging in there, Scottie, how about you? Just trying to keep my head above water in this ridiculous economy. Going to watch Fishback's kid kick some ass tonight in the Speedway Long Track opener out at Perris Speedway...might even hammer a beer or two. What's new in the great North?
