If Chase left Honda because he would not be top dog why would he go to KTM where (I think) he would not be top dog ?
Maybe he learned his lesson? Maybe now that he is closer to 30-years-old than 20, he is loosening ties to his father's influence?
I don't know, I'm just guessing like the rest of us, but I think a return to KTM is his best move. All Chase would have to do is fix the things that went wrong last time, not start from scratch with another team.

It has been reported by Matthes that Rockstar is potentially in the Quad Lock Honda equation. Which means that he indeed may be leaving Monster, so KTM is not off the table.
does he have a remaining contract with Monster that would have to be settled somehow?
The longer this drags out, the more I tend to think he is leaving monster. He's surely gotten offers from anyone who might want to sign him, so the hold up has to be something like negotiating his way out of an endorsement deal that he needs out of before he can sign. Monster would be most likely.

Matthes was saying Quadlock or KTM but what about that wild-ass theory about PRMX? They're going to be on Yamaha in 2027 and don't those guys train at Chambers' Place and doesn't Chase train there as well? If Star can't accommodate Chase for whatever reason....is there a world in which he joins Colt Nichols at PRMX and gets some factory Yamaha parts floated his way? I know I'm reaching but that's what message boards in the off season are for...
If they take Chase on, he won't be calling the shots this time. He definitely won't be using KYB either.

Who, other than Reed, is talking up this proposed team? I won’t ever count Chad out, but I’m not seeing any traction. Needs a rig and equipment; MX6 has a rig and equipment and is motivated to liquidate. Will Chad pull the trigger…..?
