How'd they get caught? The article didn't have many details other than it was a year later.

I'm guessing pinky snitched.

The article mentioned blood found at the scene.  Maybe it took a year to track down the match?  I dunno.

Guess so because such a group of upstanding citizens is not already in the dna sample registry. 😉 bet they crossreferenced the blood sample with the nearest library and the papercuts on the medical science magazines. 😆 stay off the books kids... or wear gloves while reading.

Dumbasses helpfully left their blood behind!  And for some reason, the police seemed to already have DNA data on hand for at least one of them. Wonder how that could be? /S/

Back to prison for you.  Enjoy your stay!

Most crime labs are backed up year(s) on DNA testing, and some won’t process for property crimes at all. In WA, a year ETA isn’t uncommon even for vehicular homicide cases.

There is very few things i would offer to pay higher taxes for, but to speed up the lab work for crimes is one of them.

Most people don’t understand this. They think it’s like Law and Order where they submit DNA and have the results back in a few days. Departments submitting to state crime labs (which is about 99%) are especially backlogged. Like almost everything else in the world today the police department takes the pressure and blame when in reality they have nothing to do with it.

In summary, the system is overloaded because we have too many idiots committing crimes.  Labs, prosecutors office, courts, jails, on and on....

Notice they were all released on either bond or personal recognizance...  😣

Whatever's the most cost effective way to disappear them. Line em up in a row to save money on 3 bullets. Sorry not sorry you guys are gonzo. Off to the next level, whatever that may be. But you're off this planet, nothing left for them here except to be a burden on everyone else. Fuck em.

Lifetime burdens of the state via incarceration costs, or government supports when they're out.

This is a part of the reality when the various reasons are given for alternatives to incarceration/early release/short sentences, particularly “it costs too much to incarcerate.”

No matter the reason, by the time someone is in their 20s and crime is a way of life for them, the overwhelming majority are never going to change. By letting them have freedom where they should be incarcerated, all that happens is more victims (direct and indirect), more pursuits, more theft/burglary, more procreation of kids born into this lifestyle, etc. and the “savings” because of not paying for incarceration? That’s funny. Just a short list of what these assholes cost us in the wild:

-insurance rates

-impact of their offspring, often born with special needs due to drugs by the mother/father, and lack of family stability

-liability (financial and public relations) shouldered by law enforcement chasing these people

-PR/financial liabilitiy/psychological/freedom impacts to LEOs when these people put LE in deadly force situations

-and on, and on…all solved if we put these people in prison and kept them there.

All out of jail on just their signatures. Cashless bail.

These folks won’t see the inside of a prison.

In nature, poisonous/toxic creatures develop bright colorations and patterns to warn the other critters. Apparently, humans do the same.

Monster or Rockstar.

Redbull is too highbrow. They want the tall cans.

When I first opened the thread, I thought it would be about the people that stole kailub russell's bikes, or the people that stole phoenix honda's bikes or a completely different situation? No matter the situation, i am glad the thieves were caught, wish it didn't take about 2 years though.
