I miss the sport before the era of social media. Not only did social media conveniently give everyone a voice, but character limits and comment sections influenced people to communicate in the most provocative and reactionary manner possible, for the intention of producing engagement (all for their own benefit). Intellectual discussion is non-existent and critical thinking has been tossed out the window in favour of mob mentality. The division and hostility has made browsing socials after the races, or even downtime between races a miserable experience. This isn't mutually exclusive with MX/SX and is a problem with virtually all forms...

The stadium is only 27k capacity, about 1/4-1/3rd of the stadium is taped off/covered, so this implies SMX can't even fill 20k seats, given how empty/half-filled the stadium looks. Looking like about 10-15k... not great.
