I don't know if that would be Kawi's intention. Reliability would be pretty bad. It took KTM over 10 yrs to reach it's full potential.
That's how I got around during college. I loved my KE100. Ran Marvel Mystery oil vs. two stroke oil in the injectors. Gave me 5MPH on the top end. Topped out around 48MPH.

Well I talked to a guy from Kawi and he said this shit is so quiet hes not heard a single word and anyone in the know doesnt dare speak about it, Im doubtful its real and probably not gonna wait for Kawi,

I do t know which way they’ll go with this…but…I brought up the KDX name, recently, while talking with someone from Kawasaki…that WOULD NOT EVEN “go there” on -anything- to do with a new model or project…but, they sure spent a lot of time talking about the significance of the KDX bikes and how that segment has kept going…with other brands…and I took that as a hint…of sorts. Also, I got the feeling from our conversation that e-start and injection were part of the mix.
All I know is this…from ISDE Qualifiers to AMA Hare Scrambles to the Virginia City GP & even the “GP Track” at Hollister…I had more fun racing on my blue-n-white KDX than ANY other motorcycle I’ve owned. Ever.
So, I’m just gonna say…
I’m hopeful. 🤣

Kawi sold the KXT250 3 wheeler back in the 80s. Ask Iowa’s own Jimmy White about it.
Just when I thought this couldn’t be any worse then the Triumph release. At least they showed a pic of the clutch lever or axel nut every couple months. We’ve literally got nothing since the first post. Was someone drunk at Kawi on a long lunch and said “you know what would be funny is if we said we’re bringing back the twostroke but never actually did it” I feel like I’m 10 years old in the 90’s waiting for a set of boobs to load on my computer screen.
