4/13/2026 3:36pm All these Suzuki die hard’s sound like the guys back in the day saying carbs were better than EFI. I’d much rather ride a EFI bike than carb. Sure does carbs have some advantages to EFI yeah but the cons out weigh the pros. We all sat and watched when he fell and had to sit there and rock his...

4/13/2026 3:26pm I had a 300 and have ridden my buddy’s 250. They are very similar the main difference is the 300 hits harder off idle but falls flat before the 250. The 250 has more of a traditional 250 stroke power output. Boggy off idol and then hits harder in the midrange and will pull harder on top all the way...

4/13/2026 3:19pm Weege has a hard time not discussing his contempt for race fans, it slips out all the time, that he thought they were too dumb to figure out TV is just one example. I don't think Lewis shares the same contempt, but he is guilty of voicing assumptions quickly. I think one of the problems with the sport's "journalism" is it hasn't evolved with its audience. The average age of people involved in the sport has risen dramatically as has their financial wellbeing in the past few decades, many of us are very well educated and affluent, the audience is...

4/13/2026 3:18pm If your Eli you can’t do bare minimum interviews, say absolutely NOTHING about horrible performances and freak out when people try to figure it out. Dudes way too much of a vet to not know it’s his fault rumors and discussions happen

4/8/2026 6:22am I'm so torn on whom to root for. Hunter: The "eternal" 2nd fiddle to Jett, there wont be that many opportunities for him to get a 450 SX title so it would be incredible for him and that family if he could get it done! Eli: To win that late in his career on yet another brand would be so cool. And the early part of the season was amazing, he was a class above the rest. Lets hope he gets back to that level asap. And Kenny: To win his first 450 SX title this late in his career...

4/7/2026 6:05pm I hope he wins. It would be amazing to see. As far as the bike goes I can see it as Suzuki higher ups going “see it’s fine. Let’s just smash start on the assembly line for another ten years” There’s three things that the Zook could use to be a better bike. A regular rear shock (all they have...

3/27/2026 12:03pm I have the same set up and constantly find myself grabbing the front of my helmet off jumps and lifting it up for this reason. I just feel like any time I land off a jump or hit a bump the helmet rotates forward on me. Other than that the helmet and goggles are comfy. Scott prospects have a very...

3/25/2026 5:46am Agree with OP. I had a 12 Honda 450 and the air boot clamp where it goes on the the throttle body is literally right behind the frame. I’ve spent more nights in my garage bitching out the Honda engineers about that bike. Loved the bike on the track. Handled good and had a good motor but damn what a...

3/25/2026 5:42am Hey guys, last week we had a 2012 CRF 450 R in the shop. We simply couldn't believe how inconvenient to dissassemble it is. The ECU is held by the subframe (and the wiring rubs against the rear shock), most of the electrical components are jammed around the throttle body, you cannot access the airboot clamps, the oil pump is located on the inside of the crankcase (you have to split the cases to disassemble it), the breathing hose of the valve cover connects to the airboot, and is pluged on the bottom (so you are sucking oil when it...

3/17/2026 5:58pm The Fuel Injected CRF150R FC built always intrigued me. Always wanted to build on for a play bike, and from the ones I’ve rode I think fuel injection would’ve benefited those bikes greatly.

3/17/2026 5:55pm A few that come to mind: 1971 Monoshock produced by Lucien Tilkens for Suzuki years before he sold the design to Yamaha 1988 YZM500, Yamaha's liquid cooled big bore early-aluminum framed monster: Buell/Harley 450 motocrosser: The aluminum KTM prototype frame: Ossa Enduro 250i reverse-engine crankcase-injected 2-stroke: Mugen/Honda Erex/Electric CR that we have seen pop up in various forms at trade shows and Japan nationals for nearly a decade now: All the 125 twins everyone was toying with before they were banned:

3/17/2026 5:52pm Tracked skid steer. It’s like a Swiss Army knife of Machines. First I bought the machine then year after year I’ve bought different things for it. My favorite is a 6 way dozer blade I use to maintain the track. I also sold wife on its a great thing to plow the driveway with in the winter. I also have...

3/12/2026 10:23am We know what hill you are choosing to die on. Shame it's a pitchers mound at sea level instead of the Himilayas, but you do you! No one calls any of the other Factory or Works Edition bikes a "half" as they are released at the exact same time as the regular production models. The Austrians get labeled as such due to their mid season release approximately 6 months (hey, that's a half year!) offset from the regular production models.

mikelawlor Added a reply to Proposal for lappers issue
3/12/2026 10:20am Have two sections of the track that are split lanes and ones you go a lap down the lappers are assigned one side of the split lane and riders on the lead lap are assigned the other side. Have two sections like this about half a lap apart and it would remove the clutter and give riders a chance to...

3/2/2026 1:21pm Those of us who have raced an amateur day on a VERY dumbed-down version of the racetrack know that it would be a bad idea to let amateurs out on the full SX track. I'd say B class at Loretta's or faster just to be able to ride laps.
