Two DNFs and a DNS
He can go anywhere inside of 8-12 I think. Obviously has the ability to do better but I’m not sure the bike is ready for that.
Ama still won't let you.
So I guess as we’ve seen with Triumph, Honda and now Ducati, the homologation rule is simply a promise that the bikes will be available at some point and a signed check. I don’t really even mind if that is how it works to be honest but they should probably revisit their wording or numbers or deadlines in their own rule book.

I'd be more curious what they'd say if someone like TM wanted to enter a bike on a "trust me the bikes will be here" basis.
Why not out of the TLD truck is that deal already falling apart?
Pretty certain paper cups are blowing past Prado at the track.

A complete dick comment...but funny as fuck. 😄
👍👍
It wouldn't let me give two thumbs-up, so here you go.
I don't know why everyone has this Negative Nelly opinion of the AMA and their rule enforcement. It's been demonstrated that they strictly and swiftly enforce their rules... on privateers.
Does it really matter whether the bike has been ...to the letter of the law...homologated?
The reality is, this is a EXIHIBITION entry. A couple of races where we get to see one of the best ever, one of the coolest ever, race a really interesting bike as a preview for what we get to see next year.
So what if he places 30 guys one position back in the results.
5th
Probably has to do with conflicting sponsors. When Troy was on WTS a few months back, he confirmed that they'll be a Red Bull team, but Ducati Europe is Monster. There's probably more, but that one would be a big red flag.
Our sport is too small for homologation standards in my opinion.
Maybe 250 units sold.
I suppose if it was too low than you'd see a company building sick works bikes with buyers with deep pockets. Of course our sport is mostly the skill of the rider that gets results.
Does F1 have this rule? 🤣🤣🤣
Read somewhere that the TC / Ducati US racing project was more of an extension of Ducati R&D than anything else.
DNF, 11 moto scores
Sounds like the Red Bull for the American side might not be happening. Be interesting how they work out getting a big name if the rider cannot have their own gear deal. Do they get lax on that aspect?
Pit Row
Hopefully Thor makes AC a badass custom kit to debut that bike out here
I say better than that. Other side of Lake Michigan it’s been raining a lot . Plus rain on Saturday and cool.
Interesting.
You're off you're rocker.
Even Mathes laughed off Ducati meeting the requirements. Sure they did. He also said he's probably doing Milville, too
At least one holeshot.
Then finish between 5th and 10th.
For those that thinks it's just Ducati, Honda and Triumph being given 'favours', ML did mention RV's change to the new Kawi in 2012, in the video, during the season.
Homologation rules? The quantities for the Big Manufactures, are fine, I think.
I'd just like to see them significantly lower for the smaller Manufacturers.
That, and Equivalency being put in place.
Oh, and a 125 National class be re-introduced.
In the big scheme of things, homologation of a bike that is in production and should be available at dealers in about a month is not a big deal to me. Just happy to see AC racing.
That’s Cold…😂
That would be cool. Spoonman might know but can't say.
...........and all God's people said..........AMEN.
This is awesome! It was great having him over here a couple years ago. I hope he puts in a couple strong rides.
