yours is pretty low IQ ...watch the replay of jetts.........completely UNINTENTIONAL...........
Lol at all the Jett nuthuggers thinking him winning a moto at the MXDN while guys were riding conservative to win the overall makes him a threat. Jett is going to get son'd by Eli and Chase in the outdoors. Let's make a bet.
Doesn’t matter if it was unintentional. He was out of control and hit the tough block taking Austin out
I disagree. I think he will be at the front very quickly. Maybe not race 1, but a few motos in for sure. Assuming everyone stays healthy he will be in the hunt.

I disagree but we'll find out soon enough. Either way should be a good summer of racing.
Roll the jump. I’ve seen RC roll a finish line before. Happens
Why is nobody in this thread acknowledging Jett immediately retracting his initial statement the moment he was shown the replay?
The initial angle we saw was Thrasher hugging the left tuff blocks and then crossing over to the right tuff blocks over the jump while Hunter was trying to make a pass. This would be textbook cross jumping of trying to defend your position. The replay shows he clearly made a mistake/was kicked on the face of the jump and was looking over his shoulder to see if someone was on the inside line where was flying into.
When Jett saw this, he instantly said his initial response was incorrect and even said that Hunter ultimately should’ve been more patient and was an “idiot”. Jett isn’t a broadcaster and is just riffing on what he sees the moment it happens. I personally thought his commentary was fun but of course the fun police on this forum are quick to say “having Jett in the booth was a mistake”.
What about him calling the other riders sketchy and has bad technique?
I’d say winning a moto at MXdN as your first 450 race is impressive no matter who you are or what the situation is.
I reckon if Jett completes the season and doesn’t crash out, he at least wins a moto.
Yes, i guess all people in the booth should be 100% correct when talking as to not upset anyone...i mean c'mon people so he made a comment or two you disagree with, why get so upset about it?
I agree it's impressive. But people act like he straight up smoked them while they were giving 100% full effort. Did everyone forget how dominant Eli and Chase were over every other 450 rider last summer? We shall see in a few months.
It didn't sound great and he just kept making it worse haha but as someone else mentioned he's 18 and I'm assuming doesn't get 'checked' that often.. When was the last time he was around people his age that didn't care who he was? You learn you shouldn't say stuff like that in high school when someone corrects you haha.. These guys don't learn those lessons
What's your bet?
He still beat a lot of very good riders that could for sure challenge Chase and Eli in my opinion, and they weren't riding conservative for the overall.
Lol good question. I guess I got ahead of myself. I'd have to think of something, or if any one has any suggestions. I would say not finishing higher than 3rd in the final rankings, but if some one gets hurt that's void. I'm open to ideas.
Funniest thing is that Reneaux actually won that final moto and not Jett.
This topic should really be history it's been talked about that much.
Jett out qualified chase. Which never happens.
The 2nd moto of the day evething was still on the line. If hunter didn't fall USA and Australia would have been about even on points. In that race everything was on the line. Yea race 3 they would have been conservative. But not race 2.
There is even a video or interview from chase saying he got stuck behind guadanini then jett passed him and gapped them to much before he got into 2nd. And he was passed he didn't win.
As for the 22 450 outdo.
Eli and chase smoked everyone.
3rd was a guy who had never won an outdoor overall 250 or 450 till that year.
4th was a guy who only races the 1st 5 mins.
5th was a guy who st
ruggles to make top 10s in sx.
6th was a guy who had been retired about 6 years.
You sound like you think Jett is going to be 1 minute behind every race.
Is Jett going to smoke them? No.
But I think he will be competitive and win a few races. 1st round is at pala. With his history he could get a good result and allow him to gain confidence from the start or the season.
But there is only 1 way to find out what happens.
Wait..
Only thing I remember about that day is Hunter riding like a scumbag and getting what he deserved, while J Coop rode like a fuckin hero keeping up to 450s on a deep track.
Those 2 Yamaha Euro kids were the most impressive youngsters, then I guess you could have the argument for 3rd best ride between Jett and J Coop, but I would say the tie breaker goes to Justin because his ride got team USA 1st, while Jettson’s only got the Aussies 3rd.
Pit Row
This. Agreed. 100% This sport is not large enough to properly maintain the sheer amount of self-inflicted OVEREXPOSURE they - whomever they are - have manufactured for this kid. I’m prepared to already cheer for anyone other than Jett to win when he moves up to the 450 class.
… and I don’t give a damn about donuts.
Thrasher did cross jump Hunter and the little "the blue bikes where right there" comment Hunter made after the last race kind of makes Jett's point. Thrasher does ride aggressive around Hunter but it's racing and those two are battling for position, so it is understandable. Lawrence is the faster of the two and Nate knows this IMO. I'm not a Blu-crew hater at all and I was really stoked to see Jordan Smith having a good night.
Did you guys all miss the part where he apologized for saying thrasher CJ’d?
He doesnt need to be in the booth. More negative than positive imo. He is already popular 😎
I thought Jett sounded like a super-fan of the sport, which was awesome. Why wouldn't you want to hear from the baddest young dude to swing a leg in a long time? I don't get the Jett hate. Cool to hear him talk about racing the 450 class this summer while those guys were on track. He was more interesting than the same rehashed lines by Ricky anyways.
the Aussie guys always defending baby jesus and his bro in every thread no matter what is funny.
I can't be the only one who is sick and tired of the Lawrence brothers being forced on us every broadcast.
Yes things like “yeah no, no” or “yeah no, yeah”???
Yeah but some people believe that winning Moto's at the MXDN automatically makes them faster than everyone in the world and are going to win everything they race moving forward....let's just use Antsie and Coldenhoff as examples...
Immediately during the replay Jett said "oh, no it was a mistake" as you could see Thrasher OJ'd into the face of the over/under and shot across in front of Hunter. Somewhat similar to how Jett took down Forky.
It’s a fine line with the constant ramming of the brothers down everyone’s throats…yes, they are awesome, I think we can all agree on that, but why not spread the promoting around some…
Post a reply to: Oh the irony of Jett being mad at someone cross jumping.
