Hell yeah Marchbanks!

Way to get it done, on the biggest stage for the first win. Especially when the team needed it!

Pumped for him. My heart was racing almost a little too fast those last two laps.

He had a sick follow cam on the last 250A qualifier where he wheeled thru the whoops and threw a fat whip.. He was feeling good today! Hyped for the kid

Up and down night for the team with smith hurt. I am not sure if he was going for payback with that move but that was my first thought....

He was the only one all night who was constantly doing triple triple triple in a wave section before split lane. Looked fast.

It didn't look terrible to me? But he sure did take a while to even get moving. Hope he's alright

Great ride by him, and I’m sure it feels that much better to get his first win at a track like Daytona. Makes me wonder how many riders have got the first win of their career at Daytona?

Smith has made his own bad luck with those kind of decisions

I'd say he looked more comfortable on that track than anyone else in either class. Like it was his own personal back yard track that he has ridden every day for years.

I got worried when Sexton closed it down to 1.5 seconds, but he stepped it back up and rode flawless the last couple laps to stamp the "straight up, no questions asked" on his win. Awesome ride

That was an awesome ride. Dude was flying, and he looked like he should be up there every week. Well done Garrett. Keep on keeping it on!

On a side note, does anyone else think Garrett looks a bit like Austin Stroupe? When I saw him in his heat race interview, Austin came to mind right away.

I was pumped just to see him find some success and win his heat race. That was a big step. Then I checked the results later and he won, amazing! Congrats to him!

They had it on the broadcast. I think he’s the 4th?

Not to take away from Marchbanks, but wondering if Sexton took it easy and didn’t risk anything since he was ahead of Mcelrath?

Dont think so. Sexton was definitly frustrated in his post race interview. He said he was pushing and couldnt make up the gap.

Congrats to that young man for digging deep for the win. Good for Mitch and hoping for a little luck for his team this year.

No, he was definitely trying to win. He wasn’t too stoked on coming in second.
