there's not 1 proven piece of information Sexton is even trying to leave Kawi. No recognition of the very real obstacles standing in the way of him getting out of his remaining contract and/or changing teams. No rumors of other teams waiting in the wings to sign him. No concrete information on his knee status. The rest is just interwebs speculation by people with nothing better to do all day.

RJs main complaint about the bike this year has been inconsistency. Same as Chase on the KTM. Same as Tom. I do think that there is a limit to how far you can push the WP design. I bet there are still people on here who insist that everything is perfectly fine under the Kawi rig. nothing to see here! While in reality, lets face it, it couldnt have gone worse. Sexton’s move really had the potential to prove Prado and everyone who thinks Factory Kawasakii is a mess right now wrong. Instead, it made things even worse, with the constant changes to the bike setup, Sexton complaining in virtually every interview, besides his few wins having his worst 450 SX Season being really inconsistent, and ultimately the weird crash at Thunder Valley, which ended Sextons season...

What a mess for Kawasaki. I get Chase issues are his own as well, but to see Prado want out last year, and do well with KTM and then now Chase possibly want out also after one year... How does Kawasaki-Japan not want to clean house of the US team management?

Different situation. What options does marchbanks have? If he trashes the program how many are lining up to give him a factory ride and good salary? Does he have FU money like Chase or Prado already have at this point? Does he have elite speed with only one goal and expectation of winning? Or is 5th the same as 7th for him in all reality more or less. Sexton and Prado it’s win or fail. 2nd-10th are all the same unless it’s winning they lost. Marchbanks isn’t at that level so he can “keep chipping away” getting top 10s and...

Kawasaki - They need to fire Fahe, and maybe a couple other execs. Last 3-4 years have been atrocious. Chase could still be "in" I think. Honda - no. Yamaha - Maybe. My algorithm keeps bringing him up there, with a decent past relationship. KTM - No. Also, didn't they go through a huge restructuring last year, where they about lost everything? Crazy how few people have nuance in their takes. I think it's pretty clear that Factory Kawi is a bit of a mess right now and it certainly is making matters worse. At the same time, Chase is notoriously bad at setting up a motorcycle and gets way too mental about chasing the perfect feel. Both things can be true, and it's pretty obvious.
